Are your resistances capped? Elemental Weakness rolled maps?
Generally Sunder is much better for mapping over Lacerate as it doesn't force you in to melee range as much as Lacerate does. Though that can't be used with a Sword.

I'm over res cap, and it wasn't an ele weakness map. I just can't seem to kill anything with any sort of speed, and because of that I just get swarmed and can't out leech the incoming damage. Even Mino I was able to kill much faster with my ED Scion which is pretty meh for bossing. This char started out as a Terminus flicker-er, and I ended up re purposing him to be a bosser after I leveled an Oro flicker char. I wanted to save on a few regrets and keep using a sword, but would dumping another 15 regrets to go into axes be worth it?

Been looking at this trying to solve it the best I can, the only actual deviation from the guides tree is the first few points you take dmg over some life & atk speed. However, I would personally not recommend Sword version for the higher tiers, I would much rather use something like Maroi Erqi mace version or Uul Netol's Embrace axe version to simply allow for that Sunder usage.
I feel that Doomsower is the cheapest approach to get started with the build but you'll want to move towards Sunder available builds unless you're doing Flicker Shenanigans and wants to use a Starforge later.


I would recommend for the higher tier maps you're having issues with to try the Sunder approach, either axe or mace they are VERY cheap.


Also, regarding your resistances, you are capped without using that Bismuth Flask, right?
And the starter nodes you took that scales your physical damage doesn't scale the bleed damage so I would recommend going with the life/atk speed there as stated in the guide! :)

If you feel like trying another small tweak solution it would be to switch Haste aura for "Blasphemy - Temporal Chains" however, it will remove the use of Witchfire Brew for you. But you can start with testing that imo.

The skill trees still seem outdated? Like the vaal pacts are highlighted on the trees and it still says it's using the 3.0 tree, did you forget to change them? :P

Witchfire wont work anymore on phys builds so what you recomend instead?

I had a quick question: I was thinking of trying this out as my league starter, but I'm also interested in trying out Reave. Do you think this would work with Reave as your main skill?

They are updated via PoB, which seems to be faster at updating the skilltree than GGG is on the actual website O,O....

Potentially, try it out in PoB and compare tbh :)

so how do bleed builds compare to just raw damage builds?
and wouldnt a gladiator be much better used in a bleed build?
