[3.0] Wand’s Guide to Wanding – Comprehensive Overview of Wanders

Hello, I invested some currency into my build, and it is really great for map clearing. The damage so far is good, but I feel just too squishy. I die to one hit from map bosses or sometimes even some random mob. Can anyone recommend something I could change to counteract that?

Currently at 5k Life.

Thank you very much in advance.

I have a question of my own about budget upgrades. I have little to no currency. My question would be - is it better to save the currency and follow the Upgrade Priority from the guide or should I get a few cheaper upgrades first? I'm asking, because 6L or Bisco Collar are out of my reach for the forseeable future.

You don't need bisco's collar it's just cherry on top if you want to get few more currencies here and here.

You don't need 6L either for clearing, it's mostly needed for endgame bosses / high level maps.
( your KB setup isn't in body armour sooo )
Hf :)
Just wanted to share some 'gameplay' on my somewhat budget-wander, only need a Lycosidae and fill with high hp/resist rares which are pretty cheap, no +Attacks vinktar, it doesn't focus on evasion at all, my defense is having good HP pool + flask mitigation + enough dps to kill before you even get hit.

Sorry bout weird resolution.

Keep in mind i didn't build this for guardians/shaper, though Wanders can get some really nice damage without that much currency, im mainly a lab farmer but whenever layout sucks i'll be IIQ Mapping with Sadima + Goldwyrm + Ventor's + Bisco and it 1shots anything up to T15, bosses aren't a problem with this gear though you'll be squishier ofc.

For guardians i swap Tempest's Binding for Rare helm with high hp and 40% barrage damage i found for 5c, and replace the HoI setup for OoS-CoH-ProjWeakness-PCoC.

Total investment should be around 200c: 100c dying sun, 30c pen vinktar, 30c corrupted 6l, 15c for belt cause i wanted the flask mod, rest is 1-3c gear, Pain Coil ring was a lucky drop from Museum map.

I noticed that in your PoB setup for the Ascendant there's Onslaught linked in the Herald of Ice setup, while in the Gems and Links section of the guide you say that you can drop Onslaught, if you use The Tempest's Binding (and in PoB the character has The Tempest's Binding equipped).

Anyway, this is the best build guide i've ever had the pleasure to real, having a blast leveling my first wander!
Neverming - remove please

Is dying golems just a fact of life? One or both of them is always getting shredded in large special packs, or boss fights. Are they super critical to keep alive?

I have a couple questions about the general playstyle.

So when clearing, I just mash all my flasks at every pack, and just try to rush through and clear as fast as possible. I keep finding myself caught by a boss or other rip mob when my vinktar's is down, leaving me unable to win the fight as barrage leech does not keep up. I ended up using all my shaped strands just not killing the boss.

Im left to think that either im undergeared for T11 bosses, or playing as a scion requires a higher game knowledge and flask management than playing as a pathfinder. Should I consider rerolling PF for flask recharge? I rolled scion thinking that tankier would be more friendly to an inexperienced player, maybe I missed the point of PF.

yeah golems always die 24/7 thats just how it is :/ people have even suggested that ggg add golems cant die jewels to the game lol... anyways you can add them to CWDT setup if its annoying manually recasting.
How do you guys counter the 50% increased damage taken from Vinktar's? I can counter leech, but some bosses/mobs just oneshot me :(

Anti-shock flask should work.

I read about that but supposedely it also removes the buff?

Just tested it, it does not remove the buff, only the debuff. Thanks alot man will roll with this and see how it works.
