" The big leech wheel at the bottom of duelist. Theres 3 points, and the last one gives .4% life leech and .4% mana leech |
|
" I am assuming the leech gets better with higher DPS. Right now I drain flasks quickly at level 64. I have mana leech on my belt equal to .4 that will be on the wheel. Watching your videos I see you have no issues at higher levels of dps, I actually got killed on Izaro last night due to running out of mana. Will bring a second mana flask tonight to kill him. How early should I take Vaal Pact? |

" Leech always gets better with higher DPS. It makes sense seeing as its a % amount of dmg done, so higher the damage higher the leech. While leveling I used a mana flask a lot as well. Then general clear was fine, but on certain rares/bosses was the only time I needed mana, then not at all. As for vaal pact I grabbed pretty early just because it was one point and right there so why not. I have leveling trees up for that purpose :) |

I am following the leveling guides, just wasn't sure when in the process was best to take it. I will drop a point in it at my next level up since I already pathed past it.
Thanks for the help. |

" It is the same reason we do not run wake of destruction vs a good rare. Those boots give 1-120 lightning dmg which is even more than the gloves. The problem is we alrdy lack a little on the defensive/life end of things. Yes the flat lightning dmg probably ups total dmg a bit, but at what cost? We lose even more res, more evasion and a solid 80+ life (even higher life in the upcoming beta). Gripped gloves let us get much need life roll and some more res with a very high evasion roll. It also gives us some decent damage with both attack speed roll and the projectile implicit. Personally I would love to run thunderfists + wake of destruction, but running around with a 4k hp life char does not sound very fun to me. Your gear looks fine for weapon/chest/helm + chant. Your jewelery + belt need some upgrading.[/quote] Hi Thanks for your reply. It have helped a lot. Have opgraded jewelery + boots and have now a hole new experiance playing. Thunderfists are very fun to use but they have left the plase for Gripped. all in all i got a hole lot of more life and damage and as a bonus i dont need manaflask any more. Thanks a lot :-) |

Build looks great, and the vids made me re-roll for this build.
The build is almost finished, just need some flask and a jewel. But when I give it a test run the single target DPS is a bit disappointing and I am having many issue's. Only being able to cast Spectal Throw 4 times before I run out of mana. Anyone can see where it goes wrong on DPS and Mana please? Character name Ravenish |

" Very glad to hear this! Always a great feeling when gear/levels/builds finally come together and the enjoyment of the one playing it. " All of this is covered in the guide if you read through it. Many people have asked through thread about problems, or mana, or dps being much to low and its all the same thing. - Dagger ele rolls are good but no attack speed at all. So you have a 285 Edps weapon. End game wise you should shoot for 325+ minimum and higher if you can. Attack speed + crit are both huge to this build. - No ST enchant on helm. - Most of your gems have no quality and are level 18 or 19. - Your belt is very bad, mid life roll with 1 res and crafted WED. Life is very hard to get other places, would look for 30+ WED minimum and 120+ life and go from there. - Gripped gloves look very nice on the surface, but no attack speed roll is a huge loss of dmg. You also crafted (or bought them) with PHYSICAL dmg leeched as mana which does absolutely nothing for your build. - Jewelry is not terrible but could use some upgrading and As for mana the simple solution is you did not get the mana leech node right next to vitality void. This seems to be super common and I really don't know why. Level 90 and you are running without any mana leech at all lol. |

Giving this build a whirl...AGAIN for Turmoil haha. Still love it, it's been a bit rough this time around though because I've been getting bugger all currency. Got super lucky with a cheap Belly with 40% hp at Cadiro. (400~ coins!!!)
What's the plans for 3.0 atm? I know it's a fair amount of speculation currently, but you mentioned you may change to Claws in the FAQ. If you move to claws what were you thinking to do with the Passive points that you'd remove from the dagger nodes? Just a simple move to Soul raker? " Currently 3.0 launch is scheduled for a bit over 2 weeks from now. I do not think any major changes will be taking place but can't confirm that obviously until 3.0 patch notes. As for the claws I really do feel they are the stronger option. They might have already been in 2.6 but I didn't have much testing done with them. Now with the addition to the crit multi nerfs I think claws will be better over the reset. Lets theory craft for a second between dagger vs claws and what points to go. After removing dagger nodes we lose the following stats: 60% crit multi 60% crit chance 10 int all the leech nodes After adding the claw nodes (just down to soul raker) we get: 60% crit chance 45% multi and leech for mana (double what we had) and life leech is a bit less than what we had previously 1.6% instead of 2.4%) which is still plenty of life leech sto sustain. So overall going the claw nodes saves us 5 points and we lose 15% multi and 10 int. Now the question remains where to spend those additional points. I think going the attack speed to claws of the magpie is not a Terrible way to go, but I don't think it will be the best. 27% attack speed for 4 skills surely is not bad, it will be more damage overall then getting another jewel socket. However I am hoping that with the addition of act 5 + act 10 we will have a few more skill points to spend as well. So because of this I think the best option would be to travel upwards and grab claws of the falcon. Phys damage obviously has no benefit, however with the same 5 points spent, we get 20 int (which makes up for the 10 we lost and gives us 10 more and since were lacking on int that is great) and an additional 90% crit chance (which is pretty huge). The best part though is if I am right, and I am hoping I am and we get some more skills (or do sometime in the future, that you are set up perfectly to get written in blood life nodes. 4 more skill points and 22% increased life and +10 strength. These are my thoughts currently, obviously have not been tested yet. So in conclusion without written in blood and swapping to these nodes using the same amount of passives but going for claws... these are the changes: -15% crit multi +60% crit chance (took another 30% out cuz of dagger implicit) + w/e claw implicit you go for (think the life on hit + mana on hit would be ideal) +.4% mana leech -.8% life leech +10 Int Overall I am pretty happy about those changes. |
