How good would you judge this claw considering it can be master crafted for fire dmg? |

" I mean its not terrible but not that great either. It has low ele rolls and only 2 of them. Master crafting fire is ok but can't craft a very high roll. Base is kind of crappy and kind of low APS. I mean its not terrible but sure isn't an end game claw. |

" I mean it is perfectly fine as a first mapping claw. Still not the best but only being 70 and just starting maps, should be fine. As for upgrades everyone always asks this but its impossible to say. It depends on how much currency you have and what items are available and what deals you can find. That being said lyco should be one of the first items you should buy and all uniques should be bought first as you have to balance your rares and resists around them. Once you have lyco and some more damage and mana leech, mana really shouldn't be an issue. |

" Exchanged my currencies, upgraded my items quite a bit, started mapping, and loving the build. Agreed that the uniques gave the char quite a boost ,and mana has not been an issue anymore now with Lyco and more damage.

Do you use any tool to try and simulate upgrades, or just trial and error plus specific experience? Got around 40c again. |

you can use path of building to check out possible upgrades.
it overwhelms at the beginning but you learn easily to use it :) |

" You can use POB to check certain upgrades, but mostly you should have a feel already for what upgrades should be. Uniques, then upgrade rare gear and such to not be like horrid. Couple res + life etc. Then I make sure I have a decent claw, 6l my belly, make sure all flasks are good and then I start going one rare piece at a time. This is just personally how I do it. Everyone is different. |
