Hmmm, been wondering why you havent used shield slam to travel instead of Whirling blades?

Because Whirling Blades is faster, and it goes through enemies instead of stopping when it hits someone.

With Quartz infusion i go though enemies when i charge, so ur wrong. and please tell me more about how whirling blades is faster when every smart person that pushes for lvl 100 always uses shieldcharge

Edit: they always run really straight forward maps so might be why... since shield charge in such maps IS faster, but whirling blades is probably better for anything else.

If you went quartz infusion that you have already screwed up :/

I personally have nothing against shield charge, but it does get stuck on everything constantly, being able to whirl through stuff is great. That is why most attack speed based players doing rangers/shadow type of things usually use whirling blades.

Thanks for your quick reply, i have a few pointers, there is no reason NOT to take BLoodrage early on, but for the amount of gear you display its totally unneeded, but when starting out.. every little dps counts. and bloodrage is a free 15% IAS. As for the Shieldcharge vs whirling, ur right about maps with obstructions, but you do remember you get quarts infusion, so charging through enemies is not a problem. Currently not finding any problem running t10-t13 maps without vaalpact, might be a bigger impact on tier 15+ ( i wouldnt know havent been there yet with this build ) Starkonjas vs rat's nest just depends what kind of playstyle... Rat's nest is 1000% better for dps, but Starkonjas does have the defensive upperhand, then again this just depends on how much Money you put into the build. I feel Starkonjas is the cheaper option so you can save money on jewelery (since life stats on GG jew is expensive AF)

Honestly 15% ias is very little between aps of weapon and attack speed we get through tree and on gems and gear. More is always better but 15% just really doesn't do anything. The main benefit of blood rage is that it gives frenzy charges which we don't need at all. Again if you want to use it feel free, but most people HATE the degen, especially for VP users that have no life regeneration. Yes your usually fine while general mapping and killing but its still a degen on you. If you stop or afk, or go to the bathroom or waiting for someone to catch up, or looking at an item or anything, your life just continues to go down and down. If you die in a map and cast it when reenetering at like start of strand or gorge not thinking, you have to whirl through the entire map w/o hitting monsters to get back to where you died taking degen damage the whole time OR you have to open your inventory to pop the skill out.

Is all of that really worth 15% attack speed? If you think so then feel free to remove another gem that is much better for you and run blood rage. I however will not be doing so.

As for quartz infusion as I said above, we do not use quartz infusion.... read the changelog.

As for starkonjas, a rat's nest is like 5c... its not exactly very expensive. And as I have stated last time as well you already have 6k+ life on a char, don't need another couple hundred. Personally I hate any item that has a negative drawback to it, the same as I hate items that only give a buff for like 4 seconds out of every 10 or something, they just personally drive me nuts. Now starkonja gives 50% reduced damage when on low life. Low life is anything that is 35% or lower. MOST of the time this does not effect us... but if I am in middle of a shaper battle or something or a guardian or some super rippy map, life steal and everything else is based on a percent of the dmg you deal. I do not want to be in a dangerous situation getting hit hard enough or often enough that my life dips down to below 35% dmg and as a result I am doing 50% reduced damage.

So to me Way more dps with one less life roll and no drawback, or 1 extra life roll with way less dps and a drawback... For me it will be rat's nest everytime, but again if you prefer to run starkonjas over rats nest then feel free.
does orb of storm contribute alot to our boss killing?

Orb of storms has culling on it and also applies ele weakness to our single target bosses and such which are the most important thing in the game. The damage increase with ele weakness is pretty big, so yes I would say so.
Thanks for your answer, but doesnt spectral throw already apply elemental weakness as herald of ice is linked to elemental weakness?

So bad build, 0 damage, 0 all content, pls delete this build man.

Please do git gud man, i hit level 93 with this build, if you can't do at least that, switch game, not build.

I just want to second this. I have been playing this build every other league since....2.4 or 2.6 I think. This was my "off league" to try something new you know? I just swapped over to this again, this morning....

If you have issues, it is you, not the build

Oh and edit: And I actually do suck at this game; which is why I appreciate a good build like this. Thank you

Finally hit level 94 with this build, love it.

My current gear:

I'm trying to figure out what to upgrade now beside the claw itself, but 10% better one cost me 9-10 ex atm. Guess i'll focus on buying 21/20 gems?
Hello there!

So everything has been going well for the most part (some occasional deaths because of my being stupid / too many rippy mods at once / a little bit of both) but yesterday, after I hit level 90, I decided to go and pay a visit to good old Atziri (normal version) and the encounter was... puzzling, to say the least. I had absolutely no problem with the bosses before her, they even felt ridiculous (died in a matter of seconds), but Atziri herself... wow!

Basically, she one-shot me, six times in a row. Now I'm not an Atziri pro by any means, but that wasn't my first time facing her either. I felt powerless. Her AoE one-shot me, I was able to go to her second phase (the 4 mini versions), and then I died repeatedly, in one or two seconds each time. AoEs everywhere? Boom! Dead. I somehow manage to avoid the AoEs? Boom! A little death ray right into my face, dead again.

Am I doing something wrong, or is the fight against her really difficult with this build (it shouldn't be, right?)?
Any thought is appreciated...
I still love the build, though. :)

To be frank i felt the same when i did my Normal Atziri to get the flask. Everything was gucci, res capped i had around 4,5-5k health, her spears, ocassional flameblast just 1 shotted me, without chance to leech back. Afaik she deals Lightning(?) and Physical damage, so i assume that's the reason why i could die to spear but still shouldn't with 4,5k+ life so that's confusing to me, but she definietly should not one shot us with the smaller flameblast and i wonder why is that.
