DreamFeather Spectral Throw - Clearing the game on a budget. Shaper/Uber Atziri Included.
hey guys , i just started this build and love it (like all mathil builds) and i have a few questions for more experieced people with this build:
-does the 4 points travel for the POintBlank is realy worth it ? -in the final tree on forum he doesen't take any addictional frenzy nodes but i see him using a few in the video guides, is it worth it to use them ? -anD finaly i'm thinkig to use either 6 points to take 3 more frenzy charges (ending up with 7 frenzys) or to use the points to take the Brutal Blade cluster? what do you guys recomend? |

hi guys anyone can tell me about how is that build clearspeed on maps?i saw some ppl complaining about it,compared to a EQ slayer for example, not BOW builds of course.
thanks guys |

" I was thinking the same thing. I am currently testing if this would be a good league starter for me in the next league. Sadly it is not looking too good because the Dreamfeathers are pretty much essential. I don't know how expensive they are in the first days of a league but having any unique that cannot be replaced without making the build unplayable is usually not good for a league starter. Also, high tier maps will be a problem without a 6-link high evasion armor. Overall, if nothing is changed in the patch that would make me think otherwise, this build is nowhere near as good a league starter as for example Ancestral Warchief or Essence Drain. Which sucks, because I am having a ton of fun with it right now :D " It has very high clearspeed if played right, not too far behind bow builds. And far ahead of any EQ build I have ever seen. |

Quick question as I did a bit of searching in this thread and haven't found an answer - Would an Essence of Delirium Weapon work better than a Dreamfeather DPS wise?
Also, would Essencd of Envy or Delirium work better for rings? (31-34 Chaos vs 40 Poison) I'm not sure which types of modifiers double dip and what not, which is why I ask. Thanks! Also, great build :D |
|
i highly doubt it would be anywhere near as good as dreamfeather. dreamfeather is mostly used to boost the chaos damage done when stacking evasion with added chaos damage (gem and gear). you won't get that evasion % inc dmg without dreamfeather, and thus with your essence weapon it would just remain flat and hardly increased.
also essence of envy would be better on rings because it increases chaos damage rather than poison damage. since your main damage output is from chaos damage, and poison actually does chaos damage, essence of envy does double dip this builds damage output. it raises its initial hit damage and then the subsequent poison damage. but ya dreamfeather is where its at. my build has 58,027 evasion when fully buffed. this gives me a boost of 258% attack damage from my evasion alone. to try to get that with just the flat damage from essence of delirium would basically be impossible. |

Fair enough - thanks for the heads up. As another quick question - are there any alternatives to single target DPS besides Slow Projectile Support? My computer isn't the best, so I'd prefer it if I wasn't right up to a boss in order to do DPS, since RNG tends to never go my way :(
|
|
" slower projectiles is by far and large the best. not only does it give you a massive boost in damage, but the way the projectile flies, it hits the bosses multiple times for super fast stacking of poison. coupled with wither spell totem and witchfire brew flask, the poison destroys a single target pretty quickly. you could put in point blank support, if you don't have the passive node already, but it still wouldn't be near as effective |
|
Is this a viable build as a first char for a new league?
I don't have amazing RNG sadly and I'd love to use this as a flagship char to a new league. |
|
Maybe I missed this if anyone had addressed it.
Im curious to find out the reasoning for Corrupting the Atziri's step. Are we trying to achieve the +1 frenzy or were you going for a prismatic slot? |
|
" I'm using them for +1 frenzy charge, indeed (overall 6 charges) May God have mercy upon my enemies; they will need it. Editado por útlima vez por _phlv_#6157 en 18 nov. 2016 20:05:44
