GhazzyTV - Beginner's Build: Lich Queen Skeleton Summoner [AWAKENER FARMABLE]

Due to time restraints I've been unable to do this sooner. I will be spending some extra time on this build in the upcoming few days on stream and it will most likely result in a full blown update video on youtube as well as updated PoB and I will be double-checking the thread to better reflect the quality I wish to maintain on my build guides.

Posted another variant of this build that I'm currently farming the Awakener with!
Check it out :)

Hello,

I wish to try the Mage skeletons on this Season, but I am kinda not understanding what I need to build up as items since some are for mele mages other for mages and the video is old (like 1 years old).

I wish to know what armor should I get (is there a Unique one or not), currently I have Aurumvorax , The Baron , Victario's Charity, Tabula Rasa , Meginor's Girdle. Planning to use Bones of Ullr and some gloves, but I wish to know in which of those items I have to place the correct gems because it says golem and on other says no golem so I am really confused. Haven't been playing the game for a long time and I wanna kinda start doing maps on my own if possible.

To clarify even more:
-------------------------------
Weapon - Aurumvorax (Basket Rapier) 2 Red 1 Green > Faster Attack Support Leap Slam Fortify support.

Armor - Tabula Rasa - 6L - Summon Skeletons (23% Quality) - Minion Damage Support - Iron Will Support - Spell Echo Support - Greater Multiple Projectiles Support - Pierce Support.

Helm - The Baron - 3 Blue 1 Red - Freezing Pulse - Animate Guardian - Summon Skeletons. [ Not sure which Gems should I place here ]

Shield - Victario's Charity - Clarity (Not Linked) - Generosity Support - Not used GREEN sock.

Belt - Meginord's Girdle - 33 Str + 25 str / 5 to 15 Physical Damage to attacks, 10% inc max life, 16% cold resists + 25% increased flask life recovery.

Ring 1- +27% cold resistance, +11 STR +14 int +5 evasion rating +1 max energy shield + 10 fire resistance + 28 max life.
Ring 2- +27 Max life + 3 to 5 Physical damage to attack 5% increased cold damage 38% increased mana reg rate, 13% rarity of items +33 max life.

Hey man I'm doing the mage skeleton build as I like the bullet hell appeal to it.

For starters I'd focus on getting the full Specter in the Baron helm as they do way much more damage so having a +4 (+2 from ascendancy and +2 from the helm) will boost them by a lot.

Second, I'd swap out the Torchoak for the Ullr boots, though I'm currently running maps and it's smooth sailing from there as well, and I'm running it without the Ullr boots, and I got capped out more or less with resistances so I'm not bothering that much.

Vaal Summon Skeleton is a big boost in terms of boss damage and more or less they get melted with ease. I started getting Jun Ortoi and I unlocked the bonus to minion craft, so I'd suggest you run some Jun too to get that, but otherwise you could potentially invest like 10-20 chaos total to get better gear. Considering the end game would be eventually clearing out Sirus you can check out Ghazzy's character to see what you need to aim for realistically. He made a video on it too which explains in detail why he went with such an approach.
For starters to you guys up above that just posted, Wont Victarios only give the power charges if "YOU" get a kill. Which you never will since you yourself are not actually attacking anything. I think victarios only works if you have Necromatic Aegis. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

On to my next point i have a few questions for this build (mage skele) if anyone can help me out before i try to talk with ghazzy. If i run the baron helm setup, do I stack as much strength as humanly possible with Brawn Jewels? Or is the Baron helm just to give that +2 for spectre to get 4 spectres? Or do we want to stack the str for the Ironwill gem. If the case is not to stack str i should be probably stacking abyss jewels with minon dmg/taunt?

Also is it worth going to Necromatic Aegis and running the Victarios? Are solar guards better than the vanguard setup?
i got question about your new setup to farm awaken...is it good to use animated guardian beside carrion ... will it give same damage and survive or it will die fast ?... also is feeding frenzy better or i can stay with animated guardian ?
also why are u stacking str on ur gear ... is it beacuse u need some stats for some items and gems or just because of some skill node ? sorry i'm new with this :D

For the Baron helmet, half of your strength melee bonus being added to your minions.
What level should I switch to skeletons? I’m level 20 and using a srs right now. New character so my currency is quite limited. Is srs okay until later levels?
Can anyone help me with this part of the guide, I dont really get what is expected of me. The part about an animated guardian is clear for me and how to get it, but this... im totally in the blue.

Tukohama Vanguard (Spectres):

- Raise Spectre, Minion Damage, Increased Burning Damage, Elemental Focus

Note:
For a Mage skelly approach you're gonna want to use: Tukohama's Vanguards found in act 6 and then resummonable in maps with Desecrate!
However, you could use Solar Guard as well which is generally recommended for the melee skelly approach, they can be found in these areas:
[58] The Battlefront
[59] The Solaris Temple Level 1
[59] The Solaris Temple Level 2
[60] Harbour Bridge
