[2.6] The Curse Whisperer - Tri-Curse CI Whispering Ice EleRaider - Viable for Everything
" US costs 5 skill points with the Scion tree, just like it costs the same 5 skill points from the other side. The rest of the nodes on the way to it are converted to Int either way. But the path from the other side is several nodes longer. Scion can spend those nodes in better ways. Think of it this way: you can always grab the simple 10 Int nodes with the same exact effect. But you don't want to do that as long as there is something better still available. And there is something better all the way to lv 100. We don't need the second duration cluster, one is perfectly enough. More duration would be wasted except on the very few bosses that have tons of life and stand still. Everything else dies too fast or moves too much for a longer duration Icestorm to be efficient. We need one duration cluster, but only one. Editado por útlima vez por Kelvynn en 9 nov. 2016 14:56:12

i fiddled around with the skill tree while levelling (naturally) and i must say your version is very very optimized.
the only thing i do not understand at all is "avatar of fire" (still have 1 level to go to assign it). from what i gather from the tooltip it would be a steep decline in dps (arond 20-25 percent) while you achieve the dubious advantage of single element damage (to easily negate reflects). is it really worth the trouble? if i deal like a 3rd of total damage as cold and pop a ruby flask on reflects i think i will be fine too. edit: nevermind that - i gained 300 dps for some reason. i think i don't understand "avatar of fire" XD Editado por útlima vez por ab_ en 10 nov. 2016 10:43:06

The benfits of conversion to fire have been explained multiple times already. Just re-read Build Theory carefully.

" You are lv 76. That's 16 levels below the target (92). This build scales with levels very well. 16 levels is a lot of power to get. Your gems are lv 16-18. That's very weak. Your staff is 15% Int. Get 18%, they are not expensive. Your helmet is 11%. Get 13-14%. You are in the Essence league and using Auxium. Spite Essences are cheap. Make an Int Crystal belt, or buy one. Your gloves are 67 ES and your boots are 71 ES. That's too weak. One of your cobalt jewels (between Scion and Witch) is total garbage. Move the other one (near Scion) into that socket and put Fertile Mind in the Scion socket. Merciless Izaro can hit you for 6.5k on a bad day. But if you fix the items listed above you should get at least 7-7.5k. |

Hi, first of all ty for great guide! i'm loving build so far.
I have question how can i improve my char to make it shaper ready. ty for sny sugestion! |
|
Looks pretty nice and i play it already
But why the Auxium? We dont have Physical Damage so the Mana Leech is not available - so its basically a belt with ES - not INT or anything ... or what exactly am i missing here? |
|
" Auxium was chosen for the Chill/Freeze protection and high ES, before the Int Crystal belts entered the game (see Gear - Belt). |

Thank you Kelvynn for your guide, it's a really good work and really good build. I have problem with elemental reflection, kind of big. I cannot deal with it. i have just made a test on a tier 4 with 15 % of elem reflection : even if i can kill some packs of mobs the reflection oftenly kill me. I try to avoid the mod, but some rare mobs have elem reflection and every time i meet them i die. I think i have missed something.
Regards, The guy who spend hours on his 88 level but lost everything with few mobs. EDIT: i tried to copy your flask and it's better but i dont feel safe Editado por útlima vez por mrcchaussette en 27 nov. 2016 20:25:18
