Diablo 2 Graphics in Path of Exile - Reshade Question.

Hello!

Many players are using ReShade for PoE and many presets enhance PoE very well.
But i got a question about something else than redone contrast filter.

Is it possible to Pixelate things up a BIT for the sake of retro looks?

To clearify, here are 2 screenshots. The first with the looks we are trying to achieve.
And the second image with the current graphics.

Do you want it to look like D2 or runescape? I'm so confused.

That D2 screenshot looks so much better than that scaled down PoE screenshot. And the sad part if my friend with not so good PC play PoE looking like that shit while playing D3 no problem at 30+ fps at med/high setting.

So hard to get my friends to play this game.

You shouldn't scale back PoE's graphics so much, that won't achieve the effect you're going for.

Just off the top of my head to achieve what you want you would have to rerender the original assets at a lower resolution and then stretch them back out in game - not change the overall resolution. No idea how to do that though.

Okay, i'll change the OP somewhat to clarify, i want the ReShade SweetFX mod to pixelate the shader down to a D2 style image.

The option of making a low resolution ingame setting like say 800x600 does not work and hurts my eyes like its blurry.

We can achieve this look in the game using these shaders.
Heard someone did this with skyrim using ReShade.

Is ReShade permitted to use in PoE?

Jesus d2 looks awful. I knew it was dated af but it still looked better than that in my mind's eye

You could always ask on the ReShade or SweetFX forums, I guess. They may have more experience with that kind of stuff.

While we're on the subject, did GGG ever clarify specifically WHY EXE injectors like this are allowed under the TOS? I don't think we ever got an answer.
