[outdated] Caustic Arrow Solo Map MFer (20/300+)

Did a couple Labyrinth runs today... upgraded my gear to double Ventor's, high end MF helm/gloves/amulet (48%/31%/54%), and only dropped Goldwyrm for Seven-League Step for Lab... my Goldwyrm-equipped MF is now 30/299...
Izaro is pretty easy now that I'm mostly min-maxxed... but I can see this is going to get mind-numbing... much prefer map running to enchant farming... doesn't seem too hard to learn the routes, though... only took 3 runs to drop my clear time from 12 minutes to 8 minutes to 5 minutes... probably going to slowly complete this achievement so I don't burnout... At least Zana is almost done, and Catarina/Elreon/Vorici are lvl 8, Tora 7, and rest close to 7... and I've stopped spending 1-3hrs/day lazy in 820 finding masters rotations... probably finish leveling masters so they're maxed in standard, but not gonna bother next league... |

" Yeah, I was going to do my usual self-crated Maraketh bow but...... too many times re-levelling masters in the past 1.5 years since their release. I can't be bothered anymore. I get them all to 6 for crafting/currency exchange rates, then whatever. Only one I focus on is Zana. I'm something like 880k/1500k for Zana. Ok - I just leveled up in PHC on this build.
I was dealing 8-9k on the leveling build. I follow the guide exactly...and now I'm doing 700dps with CA? I have a 5l bow with 2+. 5l chest. All the recommended items. What am I doing wrong? |

" You're looking in the wrong spot.  See where it says 15,482.3 chaos damage per second? That's where you need to look. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018.

Thanks - i didn't notice that.
However, it still says 656 chaos per second. Could this be a skill points issue? I just leveled to 64 using spark and got rid of the ele nodes. Should I get rid of some health nodes to get the DPS nodes? 656 dmg is just nothing in merc. Edit: My CA is level 9+2 (11) right now. Should I reassess once the gem is a little higher? Thank you - I just purchased a level 18 one (since im level 67).
Even with this...my dps is at 2k chaos damage. Should I get rid of health nodes and respec into more damage even though I'm HC? |

" IIR is the 6L gem. Use Rapid Decay instead, that'll help a bit. Also looks like you're not factoring in frenzy charges to your dps. Just keep doing what you're doing for HC. More important to survive than to worry about damage. It'll be slow going though it'll be worth it to survive. You're missing two key damage clusters, between Dirty Techniques and finishing off Growth & Decay. Make the gem swap (RD instead of IIR) and grab those two clusters and you'll start to feel more comfortable with the damage (~8-11k ish with charges up). Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018.

" I don't see a source for piercing in your tree or gem links, so you're missing 90% increased damage from Drillneck. You'd need to grab the pierce cluster in your tree and drop Inc AoE or Conc Effect for pierce support gem, giving you 100% pierce. You'd also then need to swap out Chain in your chest piece for something with utility like Blind or LGoH. |
