This is odd! Goldrim has an iL5 while the helmet I was enchanting is a iL75 (which increases the availability of the enchantments - if the Reddit list is true). I only got one CA related enchantment which was (duration). It isn't bad but it's not what I wanted. And I was/is farming the last helmet (aura) enchantment so I was trying it on same helmet in hopes of getting "lucky" and get the CA damage if not the aura related one.

Does the Scion tree open okay for everyone else? It doesn't open properly for me at all.

Edit: nvm, seems it's a problem with Chrome, it opens fine in IE.

From everything I've seen, the levels on the enchantments page of the wiki are the level requirement put on the gear once its enchanted... if the item didn't already require at least that level... also, the level 75 enchants don't seem to be in game yet, and there is speculation they come from an as-yet-unimplemented lvl 75 Uber Lab... so the level 68 enchants are the only possible Helmet Enchants at the moment...

Thank you for the information. I didn't know that.
I got my last enchantment challenge today, so I'll give up on the CA damage for now. I need a break from lab farming :)
So, I've also been levelling an MF CA build, but as a Champion. What is OP's opinion of this?

My reasoning for rolling a champion is that Fortify is an incredibly strong mechanic, and you actually have two options on "increased damage" to choose from, one if you often run in parties and one which has a safety buffer when you reach low life. They are both strictly better than the Trickster node which just gives an increased amount of DoT damage, and it is even a lower amount.

Right now I'm just level 70, but later I expect to have about 6k life, and I can also add Fortify, Acro/Spell Acro, and a very high evasion rating to that.

Not worth it.

The TL;DR is that by starting from Duelist, you're wasting a minimum six passive points. Congrats, you get Fortify, but now you HAVE to take damage off Champion in order to compensate for the damage you're losing on the tree.

Alternately you could just roll Trickster, sacrifice nothing, and gain a boatload of dodge/evasion.

You can't just compare Ascendant classes straight up. You have to take into account what you're gaining or losing by making a particular decision. In this case, the six passive points you lose not only means you basically throw away six damage or life nodes, there's also the opportunity cost of what you could alternately have spent those nodes on instead of being pigeon-holed into recovering that sacrifice.

There's an argument to be made for going Champion for this build if you're playing in HC, but not as an SC character.

Played properly, even without any Ascendant benefits, you should VERY rarely die with this build unless you're rolling super-rippy T11+ maps. Even as an HC character, with some modifications, you can roll Scion and be confident in your ability to survive.

I was ALMOST able to do it around that level with 3750HP and only 10k tooltip DPS, was relatively easy to do at 3800HP with 12k tooltip DPS and the nodes past Acro and levelled Grace... finally did Argus Merciless at 3900HP, 15k tooltip DPS and more kiting...

NOTE: The roughest thing for me about Izaro was getting comfortable trap-weaving in Phase 3...


I did Merc today with 3.2k health and 7.5k cloud dps. It was not fun...

My enchant could of also been a lot worse, but gotta keep trying

So far farming the masters, doing 4-5 T8-9 maps with just alch, T10+ I will do full chisel + chaos to make sure pack size is rolled.

I am not sure if we need that much IIR? So far nothing great has dropped yet, minus some max roll dual rez gear. (Which sells for less now on the market) I got a good regal farm going on, and map rarity is pretty ok so far. Hoping to get some nice build definers in the next one week so I can try another character.

I got 4.3k hp, and a decent dps, thinking if there is any gear I need to swap out? Still cant surive Death and Taxes so far, the summoned weapons are quite bad especially if i am grped.

The market is no longer what it used to be, tons of uniques flooding the market now, and not that many people are asking for good rares.
