" What I did (and your mileage may vary), is I bought a 6 socket Markarth bow for 4 chaos and 5 linked it. Rolled +2 to bow gems and used that for awhile. As I built currency and alts, I would regal/scour until I got the right combination for multimod. Then I saved currency to multimod. It took me about 2 weeks I think, not really sure...but I just handed 1500 fusings over to my bud for the 6l. That is what I am working with now. Next goal is a carcass jack. I'm currently using a Queen of the Forest. |

" I bought a 6LHarby and rolled the right mods I needed for my build with like 1200 Alts + 6 Regals. The bow was around 6 ex on Hardcore Tali. In my opinion the bowbase is not so relevant like most of the hipsters trying to tell you; a well rolled Quicksilver will even out the 6% MS you loose with any other base than a Maraketh. |

Besides of obvious answer of "RNG is RNG," how many Regals are you guys burning through before hitting +2 bow gems?
I bought this 6L with the intention of crafting a 2 resistance bow, but I've dumped in now around 100 regals/scours with still no +2 bow gems. Just wondering if I should keep persisting with this, or if I've wasted enough currency and I should just alt the +2 and make a "random mod" +3 rare. (Only reason it's a blue now is so I had something to use while I farmed more Regals) Thanks! It's what I did to get my +3...then I wait and multimodded for Leo Dot and Tora Dual Res. ---- alt/aug spam until +2 bows AND a suffix ---- regal hoping for a second suffix (if not scour and start again) ---- Cannot Roll Attack mods (1ex) ---- Exalt for guaranteed +1 gems (1ex) ---- Scour Cata mod and Leo mod for DOT (1 scour 5 alch) |
