* Until you get Drillneck, the two points you have heading toward Piercing Shots are unnecessary. Throw those into the as-yet-untaken Jewel slot next to Method to the Madness.

* Gloves – Get Sadima's Touch instead while waiting for Goldwyrm and grab a rare leather belt (dropping Perandus Blazon). You'll get better IIQ and more life / better resistance balance (for affordability, grab a dual res belt with an open suffix, craft the missing resistance).

* All your other slots: don't have IIR. Fix that. Right now you're at 7/28

* The extra jewel slot you take will allow you to tweak your res balance as required in order to make getting IIR elsewhere easier, in conjunction with improving your damage. If for whatever reason you find you're struggling with resistances (doesn't look like you are), you can still get a dual- or tri-res quiver.

* You're also somehow missing life on your amulet and two-stone ring. Fix that, too.

You should easily be able to run gold amulets and rings with life, resistance, and some explicit IIR without issues regarding res balance.

I would also drop Blood Dance for IIR / res / life / MS boots, unless you're using those specifically to push levels.

At the end of the re-gearing you should have no issues getting 16/150, which will make gearing everything else tons easier and faster.

I don't mean to butt in or anything but maybe aim for a slightly higher evasion on chest, I was able to craft a 1400 evasion chest for 4c, it might not be the highest on your prio list but it might be helpful.
I also wanted to add a question, in most of the IIR builds they have certain limitations, such as low level maps only or certain zones, I get the feeling this isnt the case with this build?
Mind if I ask, how high have you done comfortably with this build? (:

One quick question:

Do you guys usually identify all rares and sell for 1c/1regal.

Or do you go for the unidentified 2c/2regal.

I dont get the estimated 0.3 ex/hr working with my 29/141 (200 with culling) setup.
Don't know how to link my gear, but my profile is not private.
I'm overcapped in res, 4.2k life.

I farmed with IIR boots instead of the goldwyrms until now (13/180) and the results were okish, but not 0.3ex/hr.
I only used the identified chaos and regal recipes.


Appreciate any tips.

Good point re: the chest.

As for meeps, can do 81s, comfortably.

Can do Abyss and Colosseum 82s, with swap gear for bosses.

ilvl 60-71: unid chaos
ilvl 72-74: id chaos
ilvl 75+: id regal (always identified).

Reason for that is t2 res roll starts at ilvl 72.

As for 0.3/hr, of course you wouldn't. You're only halfway geared. You can expect more like 0.15-0.2 @ 13/180. The estimated per hour income rate is assuming you're at 20/300 or better.

Also, they did a wholesale change of default privacy settings. Your characters are now private.

For solo mapping, what would be the best MF support gem, a 20/20 Item rarity gem, or 20/20 item quantity? (standard only, obviously) I tend to favor quantity, but not sure?

Hankinshol's done some nice math to help out with that, as well in the third post of the thread I've placed a C value calculator that you can download which will help you figure out what's better for your current MF setup. The higher the C value, the better.

Also about the leveling Serleth, you mention a +1 bow for PA leveling, what about the bow silverbranch that you can use at level 1, that one has +1 to bow gems, can I simply use that one for PA leveling if I choose to?

Silverbranch works nicely, if you have nothing else easily available, I used it from level 1 (or whatever) to 51, first with rain of arrow, and eventually with poison arrow from late 40s.

I started from level 1 just now so I'm using it, as soon as I get something better I will of course switch, my plan is to use PA from the moment I get method to the madness just because, well, I think it's a really fun skill and I'd like to get familiar with it (:

Silverbranch was left unmentioned because the guide was constructed for the purposes of starting in a fresh league.

But yeah. I should still put that in there. Adding it to my list of forthcoming edits.
