New Skill Tree - What will you do with jewels?
if intuitive leap is medium range, i dont see any socket where it could be usefull to me except gaining 1 passive point
only a jewel as strong as a notable keystone like +24%phys dmg and +10%attack speed or one as strong as that would be worth to use we have to see all jewels, at the moment i dont think they are really worth it Editado por útlima vez por InAshesTheyShallReap#0055 en 19 abr. 2015 9:04:29

impossible to say until I know all the mods that can roll on them. but obvious use is fill in gaps like str, int, dex, or resists
R.I.P. my beloved P.o.E.

From the interviews i have seen only two options: Offense min/maxing dps and Damage over time in less impact than Defense/survivability modifiers: Life/Mana leech, leech rate, Block, Life/Mana regen, Aura reservation that in my opinion they gonna be more appreciated than the offensive ones.
I would like to see a few other options: Crafting: reducing or increasing the RNG from orbs, once they placed lock them so players need to pay regret orbs plus others to remove them from tree. Experience: like maps you can roll these ones granting more XP but with the difference that drawback only applies to the user survivability and not monsters. Loot: Roll them for hunting items like X Tier of monsters have more chances to drop specific items("have % more chance to drop Bows"), numbers and pool of these modifiers would need a balance/scale in groups for sure maybe a drawback wont be needed but the goal is give more "control" about the loot table. Jewels have good potential, some of them could also gain experience and level like skill gems. Editado por útlima vez por 2i0#7192 en 19 abr. 2015 9:52:19

" Not sure I want them locked. I like that potential to min/max via jewels based on the encounter/boss I'm about to face. This "may" make the alternate gear set on our characters actually useful. Have to wait and see, definitely digging that GGG added a mechanic which completely changes theory crafting, good stuff. As to the original question I'll probably make a scion and try to get every jewel slot on the tree. Scion Jewelist here I come. Editado por útlima vez por bleach#5075 en 19 abr. 2015 10:06:56

" That's a good idea in my opinion ... but hey .. i've always wanted to see items which gain level in the first place "I'm going to show you pain you never knew existed, you're going to see a whole new spectrum of pain!!!!! Like a RAINBOW!"

Also don't know exactly what mods can be rolled on them and what their range is if you could get ones with flat life on them like gear then some will make a high health build(HC probably)
Also what corrupted mods will the have access to Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi He who controls the pants controls the galaxy. - Rick & Morty S3E1 Editado por útlima vez por lagwin1980#2224 en 19 abr. 2015 12:18:38

I expect them to be similar to notables for the most part. Nice to have but probably not worth traveling for.

The build I'm planning to make when Act 4 comes out (assuming none of the 5 other skills make me want to change) looks like it can get 3 jewel slots in just 2 points each and 2 more in 4 points each. The only unique jewel that looks kind of interesting is the curse one, but I'll probably just use rare ones for the raw stats.
