Anyway I have been upgrading my character and clearing the Atlas. Just started on Red maps and I would like to start bossing for the first time ever.

Btw Idk how to post the image of my characters equipment direct on the forum.

First of all, reroll the "effect of marks" on ur gloves to "inflict lightning exposure on hit". Your "mastermind of discord" ascendancy has no effect at all.
Second, replace lightning penetration with critical damage support. Try to get ur Arc level to alteast 25 and ur crit chance as high as possible. Best thing you could do now is to craft a better chest. Maven orb shapers "+1 to active skill gems" and redeemers "+1 to support gems" then craft "prefix cannot change" and reforge crit. This chest will be a huge dps upgrade.

Then, replace Trinity support with level 5 awakened added lightning dmg for 1 additional Arc level and replace brotherhood ring with a synthetised ring with "gain arcane surge on hit" and then equip anima stone jewel and equip 5th golem instead of arcane surge support.

Later when u get more currency get a ring with synth implicit "gain onslaught on hit". Boots with tailwind, elusive and onslaught. +2 skill gem amulet. And finally awakened spell echo.

And thats basically it :D

I've been trying to add Awakened Added Lightning Damage gem to PoB but it always says that I would have more damage with Trinity, not sure how do your calculations add up? I set Lowest Resonance Count in config tab to 50 as it is always like that.

When testing awakened added lightning gem in PoB make sure to remove the brotherhood ring too.
