Enki's Arc Witch Memorial Page
Level 88 now and getting through yellow maps ok, but push towards red maps is getting somewhat tough. I had to get someone to help me with 2-stone Drox because I just did not have enough DPS to kill him flags, adds, and break through his shield.
I've sunk a decent amount of chaos into the build now (~100?) but I'm wondering how much scaling is possible with this short of going super deep into it (multiple EX)? |

" I think most of your gear are ok, just get them as in the guide, Life, Mana, and Resists. - For your wand you should 3 link it and put spell cascade as 3rd link so you can spawn 10 corpses instead of 5. You could always get more mana and better damage affixes if you have the currencies. -Helmet is pretty good you can try to aim for the same stats additionally with the crusader affix which gives you % increased mana. -You definitely want increase to maximum life on your shield, rest stats are good as it is, you could always get resistances from other gears so you can get some damage affixes on your shield as well. -Amulet you would to have increased to maximum life as well. -Body armour is good, eventually you want to get increased effect to offerings as said in the guide. -Try to get life and mana regeneration on your rare ring. -gloves are ok, could always get higher mana and resistances though -For the belt you can go for a stygian vise so you can put an abyss jewel, and same as everything just aim for higher life, mana, and resistances. -boots are good, could try to get a two-toned boots for more resistances so you can get better damage affixes elsewhere. This build certainly works well in the endgame and complete all the contents just because how forgiving this build is. |

" I mean you could certainly get more life on some of your gears like your shield and rings. You should definitely get trigger a socketed spell on your wand, it will make your life so much easier to take care of stuff. Sure this build is tanky but that does not mean you can just face tank everything, i mean sure you can do once you got more life but Izaro and Argus's skills are really not that hard to dodge out of the way using movements. Another reason we want arcane cloak to be constantly up especially when we have high mana and high mana regenration is because it can give you a huge shield. Rn i am at 7.1k unreserved mana and it can give my 4.5k shield, even when you are not at full mana you can have a 2-3k shield which would really help you with big hits. As for porcupines, you can just your orb of storm then run away, or you use arc then quickly flame dash or whatever movement skill you use. I know that sometimes porcupines can really catch you by surprise because you are just in a constant mode of arc and move and not looking at the mobs you are killing. But porcupines only appear frequently in certain maps like orchard, garden, terrace, and some dungeon maps like vaal pyrimad/temple. So when you are in those maps just pay extra attention and remember there could be porcupines and I should be careful Overall big hits are meant for you to dodge them and not face tank them. So you should just get more life and mana, try to keep arcane cloak up as much as possible with your playstyle, and just pay more attention to whats happening. |

Just want to post to show people what the early end game looks like, and I wanna say with enough effort and some currency put into the build it definitely would work pretty well. Really recommend the Orb of Storm set up where you link culling strike, curse on hit, conductivity which will help you kill the boss when they are at 10% hp. Here is my A5 Sirus fight and Cortex Boss fight for anyone whos interested.
Both was without 20/20 Gems. Lvl 92 for the A5 Sirus, did not have Kitava's teachings, Sirus Dps was around 1mil. You can see the build is really tanky, can tank a few of the "Die!" rays. Just take longer if you have less Dps. " How much did you spend pushing the build to that level? I'm struggling at the start of red maps right now and I feel like every time I look into upgrades they're just more than I can afford. |
|
" I bought upgrades fairly early so it was rather cheap, I got the watcher's eye for 1ex which was really lucky. 6-link body armor for 1ex which is for the damage but the prefixes should be quite cheap. Kitava's teachings 78c. Rest of the gears combined should be under 200c. Some of the gear you can just harvest craft it, its not too bad to get a decent one. I would say good jewels are more expensive than some gears lol. |
|
I'm sitting on 1ex so far...so yeah, that's totally un-affordable for me.
I've been spamming harvest crafting as much as possible, but my luck is garbage and I don't really know what I'm doing 100% anyway, lol |
|
" Well kitava's teachings and the watchers eye are only there for the mana problem, if you can find enough mana regen from else where, its not necessary to have them. I still do not have the 70% mana regen boot enchant yet. 1ex should be able to get most of the gears. I just looked over your gears, you do not have both life and mana on almost all of your gears, its a surprise you even reached red maps in my opinion. Try go for Life, Mana, Elemental resistances, Mana Regeneration on your gears. Your wand is like ok, if you have extra currency you could go for higher mana. But prioritize your defensive gears first. That should help you a lot. Editado por útlima vez por PricelessWombat#5452 en 28 jun. 2020 0:45:36

" Oddly enough the defense hasn't been an issue at all. I feel tanky as hell. It's DPS that's murdering me. It just takes FOREVER to kill anything relatively tanky. I didn't think Kitava's Teaching was necessary since I got the trigger on skill wand? |
|
" Kitava's teaching is the small cluster jewel, the helmet is Kitava's thirst. Remember we are using Archemage, so more mana equals more dps for us. Also you could look for better item base for gears. Such as Fingerless silk gloves, bone helmet, and Fossilized Spirit Shield. So for DPS, your Arc mana cost is only 753, your probably want it to be higher for higher base damage, thus why we are stacking maximum mana. Second of all you are using unleash rn and your Total DPS on PoB is 240337, if you switch from unleash to spell echo you will have 365867 dps and you cast rate increases from 2.66 to 4.49, and if you get 6 link and put on controlled destruction your dps will go to 594380. Now your mana regen is only 461, if you are taking hits and casting arc, that regen is not cover the mana cost of arc. You should also try to get an essence worm and put wrath in it, which will also increase your dps by alot. |
