Why would that matter. Chances of you rolling anything remotely close in SSF is close to none.

Because I'm curious. Does my interest really have to be any more complicated than that?

Who cares whether or not I can replicate something like that in SSF. I'd just like to know.
'A Balrog,' muttered Gandalf. 'Now I understand.' He faltered and leaned heavily on his staff. 'What an evil fortune! And I am already weary.'
Mayhem SSFHC just had a fun belt reward from turning in valk cards xD (so lets see how long i survive to test it for the first time!)

and ty again for build guide!

Important Note: "Heavy Draw" node is not optimal for this build, as stun and damage with ailments does nothing for us, save the 4 skill points and put in something like "Piercing Shots" node especially if you do Zana Breach alot to improve clear speed efficiently.
I'm annoyed. I was instantly sold when I saw the new support gem, so i'm building a new TS build.

The main problem: The whole guide is about a crit TS. However, no matter how I try to do it, the crit build doesn't cut it, and ends with far, far far less dps than the non crit- build. The reasons are the following:
-Many points lost getting the crit. I mean, you lose directly 14 pts (more or less depending on the build) getting crit, not even counting the path. Instead you can get Destroyer, Splitting Strike and Wrecking ball (with a lioneye fall) for the same amount of points and get 158% increased physical damage and 27% attack speed (which is pretty massive, around 40% more dps).
-Since you are not going crit, you can take Ascendencies not related to crit. The slayer, for instance, get a +20% more damage and a culling strike at 20% hp (which is another 25% more damage in practice).
-You get another support gem
-You can use Lioneye Glare with Far shot (another 30% more damage from far shot and at least 10-15% more from accuracy)

I mean, with minimalist equipment (completly naked except for Lioneye glare + corrupted drillneck), I do something close to 1M dps.

Am i missing something important on why a crit build should perform much better than a non-crit one?

any ideas how to avoid Vaal Pact nerf except the Atziri Acuity?

Acuity won't help you in league anymore. You can go Slayer for more sustain if you want more sustain. Other than that, it's pretty much the old "kill them before they kill you" meta, further reinforced by the changes.

thanks
also how would you deal with reflect not having additional insta-LL (even reflect dmg mitigation through demigod doesn't help much once VP is gone)? flasks only?

Reflect is reworked and is a counterattack now instead of actual reflect. So that's not a problem.
after 3 years, ill play your build again :)
