" It will be hard to match Lioneye's because of the attack speed. But remember that with it you can't evade reflected attacks. I bought a similar bow to the one you're considering and regard it as an upgrade just for that reason. |

I get confused by some of the recent comments in this thread. The the author of this thread was mentioning that you can run this build on all self-found gear and it isn't going to cost you alot of currency, but recently I've seen others comment on how a specific harbringer bow wasn't going to work for this build and some of the bows I see linked look like pretty decent bows, at least the best you'd be able to probably "find" on your own........Some of the bows that I've seen recommended cost quite a few exalt........so perhaps this build it's a 100% self-found type of build after all.

so my gems getting to lvl 20 is hearld of ash/ice worth getting to 20%?

" Get more Life, I would recommend at least 4k to survive a flameblast. Other than that your gear looks pretty good/ok, most of Atziri itself is just a skill-check (dodge her attacks as good as you can), it just needs a little practice (which can be hard as those fragments costs you). Personally I find the trio before her much more challenging. Also: The only flask that should NOT be Surgeon's is your Insta-Flask (I don't think Atziri's Promise is necessary, better take a Ruby flask with you)! Really ... optimize your flasks, they are very important. /Edit: @Mentoya: This build is a good self-found build. You can use Death's Harp a very long time (until you have a decent rare bow) which is very cheap. Of course, once you hit your gear wall you will have to trade ... as always in PoE. A lot of bows shown here are pretty good already. And of course ... those costs several exalts because everyone wants to have those Harbinger's. If this build were not so popular, they would cost a lot less. (remove of Hybrid-Mastercrafting has made getting a good harbinger a lot more difficult now) Editado por útlima vez por daish0 en 11 ene. 2015 17:49:35

Thanks Daish0. So when people are talking about wanting to spend several exalt on a nice high end harbinger bow, that's only to defeat Atziri, correct?? In other words, with decent self-found year you can still make it to the mid 70's maps probably? I'm only asking that as I may not have any desire to fight Atziri........
Thanks |

" Where do these numbers come from? With a smallish sample size, I got about .12 chance to get a red socket on Maligaro's, which means 1:1736 (using the guaranteed 2R from Vorici, all the other options are worse). To get 1:500, one would need a .22 chance to get a red socket, which seems way off. And if .22 really were the right chance, then using the Vorici 1R recipe would be cheaper... Shower thought: no two rares are the same. So rares are unique, while uniques are not. On the other hand, uniques are rare, while rares are not. I guess the best thing to do is to pick up every single white Harbinger Bow I can find and use an Orb of Alch on it until I get what I need. or I guess I could scour just 1 white Harbinger and Alch it and rinse and repeat until it has good mods, and once the stats are decent, then master craft to add the additional mod...
