acer aspire laptop, the game runs fine but when there are 10+ mobs on screen , 1 boss casting spells and i go atk them i got lagged as hell, some maps lags aswell, i need help to config it for a better performance, i have low shadows and middle graphics in- game, idk what else i can try, got catalyst control center also, please some advice =)

Usually in these instances, it helps to post a DxDiag.exe export ("save all information" button) inside of a spoiler tag so we can take a look at the hardware and drivers you are using. Then we can see if there are any known issues with that hardware, or anything out of date that might need to be updated, etc.
In the case of AMD/ATI cards, make sure Tessellation is disabled. That can improve performance a bit. You also might want to take a look around these forums for AMD/ATI tweak posts because there have been a few of them and they might give you some better results. |

where is that tessellation? i can't read that word anywhere nor in game or the cata center...

So I'd bump it once per day as it leaves the front page for a few days and then resort to more self-help. As for Tessellation... your google-fu needs much work. I did a google search for "amd tessellation settings" and the first result tells you where the setting is. |

" They might have moved the location, but as far as I know, there should be an entry in the CCC for Tessellation, and disabling it improves performance. I don't use an AMD/ATI card, nor do I use CCC so I can't tell you exactly where it is. But as I said before, you might be better off looking around for some of the older AMD/ATI optimization threads and attempt what some of them say. Might help you get better performance. Also keep in mind that AMD/ATI cards in general don't work as well with Path of Exile as nvidia cards, so you're already starting at a disadvantage there. Doesn't mean you can't squeeze out a little more performance, but it also might not work either. Only trial and error will say for sure. |
