[1.1.2] Invader Boss Guide (Work In Progress)
This is a new guide and I will be working on it (itll be done when its done) =P
This post will be where all the bosses are in a complete context. The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th post will be where i put the eventual overflow content aswell as a section grouping bosses specifically on their difficulty level (although this seems more controversial than it should). =/ The stuff i write here is by no means law and if you see something is wrong i would beseech you to voice that and show proof if possible, otherwise ill try to look into it ^^. I'm going to be composing this guide and here are some of the things i will be working on 1. what bosses abilities are 2. what mobs spawn with what bosses. 3. what tile sets bosses spawn more frequently on 4. general tips & tricks for defeating these invader 5. format this better (including punctuation, spelling, and overall structure). 6. Pictures of each of the bosses (This will probably be the slowest to get finished). 7. Will use the monikers i use for bosses as a sort of referencing system. This guide won't be a guide telling you to "lol alt+f4" but will hopefully share what requirements need to be met for you to be able to fight the invader (and yes some fights just might not be possible with your build, accept it, move on, and JAM!). Symbols: ^1^ will be normal confirmed ^2^ will be cruel confirmed ^3^ will be merciless confirmed ^4^ will be maps confirmed Manageable will be *M* *WT* = Will Test </> will be completed for now (pictures not included) Boss Difficulty Rating: Insane - ***** Hard - **** Moderate - *** Easy - ** Easiest - * Will be splitting color halfway and the colors will be melee/ranged when that happens Abilities will generally be in order of scary to paltry, eventually. >< TESTING AREA >< Insane Bosses- *****

Spoiler
Strategies: Absolutely mandatory you pull these two apart and fight them one on one.
Blood Morpher: Uses: Molten Shell, Flammability, Fireball, Enemies are Slowed Aura. Strategies: Fight him with entirely Elemental Damage because almost all of his damage comes from the Molten Shell (so don't proc it ^^). Also you could, Over-cap on Fire Resistance, run Ruby Flasks, and/or Use Curse Immunity Flasks. *NOTE* ranged will not be able to kite him because of his slow aura. Blood Stasis: Uses:Arctic Breath (LMP or GMP depending on level or difficulty *not sure which*), Ice Spear (LMP I know, might also get GMP later on but haven't seen it in higher difficulties), Allies Move and Attack Faster Aura. Strategies: I'm not sure if there are any truly good ways to fight this guy as melee (I haven't found one GMP Arctic Breath is Bull...). Ranged its easier but he has the tendency to run up to melee you and then promptly shotgun you. Spawns With:Barrow Ape, Baby Monkey that is darker in complexion than the normal Monkey model. This is one of the only times they will actually spawn outside of Dread Thicket THIS IS THE BEST METHOD OF RECOGNIZING THESE TWINS! Picture:

</> Alpha Paradisae - Plumed Chimeral - Machine gun bird from Sceptre.- ***
Spoiler
Uses: Desecrate, Burning Ground (Like Fire Traps detonation effect), Devourers bodies like Devouring Totem regenerating significant amounts of HP.
Spawns With: Plumed Chimeral Picture:
Spoiler
![]() Strategies: There are two ways to fight Alpha Paradisae, and which strategy you will use depends on how much DPS you can pull. The first "strategy" is to dodge Burning Ground and Desecrate, while ripping him a new one. The second strategy involves a little more involved play. use a body detonator, such as -> Detonate Dead, Devouring Totem, Flesh/Bone Offering. Pull him into an area where he cannot eat bodies therefore he cannot regen making him a breeze, granted you may have to TP in and out a couple of times. This is an endurance fight. Significantly scales off party size. Skip Status: Easy. Summary: Alpha Paradisae is an *easy* fight as long as play smart and have decent resists/HP pool, dodging the burning ground and Desecrate is a huge part of the fight. Atziri's Pride

![]() Strategies: Think fight is just a Spank and Tank, TPs are good if you don't have enough Leech, Physical Reduction, or Dodge to just sit there and man fight him. Skip Status: Moderate, hard to stop him from chasing but hes not scary at all. Summary: Straightforward fight decent physical reduction or good dodge chance helps. Beheader Ataguchu - Two-handed Sword Cyclone Miscreation (new mob type as of 1.1.0). - ****

Uses: Cyclone that leaves degeneration trail in its wake, Cleave with Corrupting Blood on hit, Crazy Beserk Fury/Enrage mechanic.

![]() Strategies: Staunching Flasks are utterly mandatory for this fight. Fighting him is doable till you get him to around 20-30% HP where he starts going apeshit his cleave grants more corrupting blood stacks the lower he is (he put 8 stacks on me in one hit, thank god I was testing at lower levels), as well as him getting turbo and extra damage (not sure specifics but seriously watch out). I seriously suggest Culling Strike on this guy, hes actually insane < 10% HP. Skip Status: Easy, He'll start to spin to you and that is when you run past him (waving "cya later dumbo" as he casually spins away from you unable to switch directions). Summary: If you have trouble fighting him when hes at full hp log out, reset zone, TP out, or run past. Culling Strike is very important, as well as Staunching Flasks. **Watch out for when Vulnerability is on you because of the whipping miscreations** </> Bladeback Guardian *^ - Porcupine Goliath - Spikes on death mob from Imperial Gardens. - ***

![]() Strategies: He has both physical and elemental reflect pull your DPS back a bit if nessecary. Melee need to wait for the CD on his 360° Incinerate, also try to kill him with a ranged ability in merciless because he is a volatile. Ranged is straight forward, don't kill yourself on reflect. Skip Status: Easy, Be careful of tight corridors and if you need to skip him wait till he casts his incinerate then run past while its on CD. ![]() Strategies: Easy fight to just tank and spank him. Move out of the chaos cloud it hurts enough that it is significant to survival. If needed run over-capped Fire Resistance, easiest way to do this is carry a Purity of Fire with you at all times, or use a Ruby Flask/Curse Immunity Flask. Don't die looting because your standing on the Burning Ground he releases on death and a Chaos Cloud he dropped before he died that lingers after he is gone. Skip Status: Easy. Summary:Dodge Chaos Cloud and over cap Fire Resistance, easy fight. </> Blood Morpher + Blood Stasis - The Baby Monkey Twins - Fire and Ice - ****

![]() Strategies: Besides Perma-freeze and CI this is a very rough fight to take on in a post-cruel game. Amethyst Flasks are mandatory and the flask cannot be the only Chaos Resistance you have either. This fight is easiest if your onto of him, makes running out of Multi-cast EK easier. When he starts Multi-casting EK move behind him because while he is casting it he cannot turn or move. Use your Granite or Jade Flask when he starts using Flicker Strike to maintain HP to survive at least 3 EK's with Seething Flasks. TP out whenever low on pots (WHEN LOW NOT COMPLETELY OUT). Log out if you need to. =P Skip Status: Hard, if he can chain his Flicker Strikes onto you he will fairly easily finish you off with his Multi-cast EK. Summary:Spider got toned down a lot in 1.1.2. I was able to face tank 69 version of him in maps with 13% chaos res. Coniraya, Shadow of Malice

Skip Status: Moderate, If you de-sync using a movement skill on this guy it can get real sketchy, real fast. I suggest foot-slogging it past this Invader. Summary:Do not stand in the same place if you are ranged. Step 1: attack and move. Step 2: rinse and repeat step 1 until he is good and dead. Melee equip a ruby flask and go ham (I had to TP out once to refill pots to kill him). Docere Incarnatis (Still haven't fought him, man is this guy an enigma lol).

Uses: Cyclone, Searing Bond, LMP Flamebreath.
Spawns With: Picture:
Spoiler
Strategies: Dodging his cyclone isn't necessary, it does a decent amount of damage but is reasonable. What you cannot let him hit you with for too long is his Flamebreath move that reciprocates what the dogs in docks use. Because hes using LMP if hes on top of you he is going to crush your HP pool. Try to position yourself to when he spins through you that his Searing Bond isn't cutting into you when he stops, if it is move. Skip Status: Easy Summary: Don't get hit by LMP Flamebreath, stay out of Searing Bond when you can, Cyclone is negligible. The Sunburst Queen - The Incinerate Buy Lady - ***

![]() Strategies: Range her down from relative safety, untouchable by her Incinerate. Cause her to use her Incinerate by standing at the edge of its radius or dropping totems on her till he uses it. After she uses it you have ~8 seconds to beat on her before you need to get out. Repeat forcing her to use her Incinerate and then running in to beat on her, do this until shes dead. Skip Status: Moderate, Tight Corridors can get rough. Summary: Dodge her 360° Incinerate. *IT HURTS* Thornrunner - The Proximity Shield Snake- ****
Spoiler
Uses: Spinestorm (a spike varient of Firestorm), Puncture, Proximity Shield.
Spawns With: Spine Serpent. Picture:
Spoiler
![]() Strategies: Fighting this guy is like chasing someone who doesn't want to be caught. He'll Puncture you and run away, since he has proximity shield he forces you to choose. Either pop a staunching flask or run at him taking significantly more damage than his other attacks do. If your a squishy build (phys % reduction wise) he'll puncture you and then drop a spinestorm on you that sort of forces you to move. Hes not terribly scary RIP wise but this guy will make you burn all your flasks and wittle you away when your out. Skip Status: Easy, pop Staunching Flask if punctured. Summary: This is a flask fight, without a way to easily regen potions. Such as, fighting him in stages and breaking off the fight and finding some mobs to refill your pots and then come back to fight round 2 and so forth. Or Surgeon's Flasks with good crit chance can do the job but is harder because alot of crit builds rely on Spectral Throw and he has Proximity Shield. Wiraq, the Impaler - Dual-Wield Miscreation - (new mob type as of 1.1.0) - **
Spoiler
Uses: Dual Strike, Damage Boost mechanic.
Spawns With: Burned Miscreation's. Picture:

![]() Strategies: This guy is easy when his model burning (The Damage Boost mechanic) absolutely do not fight him. When he turns his Damage Boost on he start slinging lazer beam's (figuratively speaking, he just really, really hurts). The Damage Boost seems to have a pretty significant cooldown, upwards of 10-15 seconds. Hes not a very fast mob so running is easy. Skip Status: Easy Summary: This is a pretty straightforward fight run when hes on fire, fight him when hes not. Wiraqucha, Ancient Guardian - Shroud Walker Snake - Shadow Ninjitsu Snake - ****
Spoiler
Uses: Splits into Shadows of himself, Shroud Walker.
Spawns With: Serpentine Constructs. Picture:
Spoiler
Strategies: Without Resolute Technique this fight becomes very hard. One of the hardest parts of this fight is just finding the real one (GGG made easier as of 1.1.2). This is an Endurance fight to the extreme. Not incredible dangerous however, he has the mounting force factor on his side, fighting this guy is like climbing a mountain. Skip Status: Moderate. If open area -> Easy. If enclosed space -> Hard. Summary: Be very careful that you are not overwhelmed, log-out if necessary. Wonderwalker - Undying Grappler - The Discharger - **
Spoiler
Uses: Discharge, Power Charges on Hit, Flicker Strike, Puncture, Possible Beserk Fury?
Spawns With: Undying Workers, and Undying Grappler's (the undying mob pack with him might varry *WT*). Picture:

![]() Strategies: Try to fight him away from his Undying compatriots, or kill them before-hand. Without charges this guy is a joke and with them hes not much scarier (he just doesn't generate enough of them by himself). Skip Status: Moderate, He uses Puncture. Summary: Fighting him on a Charge Gaining map such as X Endurance charges every 20 seconds can be a pain. But, this guy doesn't even come close to what Granitecrush can do. Without physical damage his molten shell won't proc. Otherwise over-capping Fire Resistance is required, his Molten Shell is killer. *NOTE* Hard for ranged to kite him because of the Enemies are Slower Aura. Blood Stasis - *** Uses:Arctic Breath (LMP or GMP depending on level or difficulty *not sure which*), Ice Spear (LMP I know, might also get GMP later on but haven't seen it in higher difficulties), Allies Move and Attack Faster Aura. Strategies: He will shotgun you with Arctic Breath if he is close to you. Ranged its easier but he has the tendency to run up to melee you and then promptly shotgun you. His Ice Spear does negligible damage, the only danger is it freezing you at long range allowing them to catch up to you. With Allies Move and Attack Faster Aura this little guy is like a race car. Spawns With:Barrow Ape, Baby Monkey that is darker in complexion than the normal Monkey model. This is one of the only times they will actually spawn outside of Dread Thicket, This is a very good method for recognizing that these are the invaders that have spawned. Picture:
Spoiler
![]() Skip Status: Very hard if Blood Morpher gets his slow aura onto you. Summary: Be careful and aware when these two are involved. Morpher's Molten Shell sux.

SW Cintiq, the Inescapable - Black Spider - Heavily "Nerfed" in [1.1.2] - ***
Spoiler
Uses: Flicker Strike, Viper Strike, Multicast Chaos Damage Ethereal Knives.
Spawns With: Picture:
Spoiler
![]() Strategies: Chaos Resistance is important otherwise his Viperstrike stacks will overwhelm the player, and his EK will hurt a lot more. This fight is easiest if the player stands onto of him during the fight, this makes running out of his EK easier, and reduces the amount of times he will Flicker Strike. When he starts Multi-casting EK move behind him because for the duration he cannot move or turn. His EK and Flicker Strike are his scary skills. Without enough Chaos Resistance or Physical % Reduction respectively this will be a hard fight. Skip Status: Hard, if he can chain his Flicker Strikes onto you. Summary: Move out of EK. Minimize the amount of times he Flicker Strikes. Chaos Resistance reduces the difficulty of this fight substantially. **NOTE** This spider got toned down a lot in 1.1.2. Face-tanking him is possible now with the correct defenses. SW/P Curator Miem - ****
Spoiler
Uses: Firestorm he can only cast at range, GMP Firebombs.
Spawns With: Picture:
Spoiler
Strategies: his firestorm casts automatically in an area around him (he still casts it while perma-frozen). But, his Firestorm has an eye of the storm mechanic, unable to go off in a tight circle around himself. Melee has to not get hit by all the bomb detonations when they go off. He will hit the player with 2-3 of the firebomb's on average but the others will land nearby. The player will still be in range of these "idle" bombs when they detonate they will do so in ~approx. 5-7 seconds. Therefore every-so often the player will have to get out and let them detonate then go back in again. Skip Status: Moderate, Be careful of de-sync this guy puts out tremendous amounts of damage if the player is standing still (in Firestorm). Summary:Do not stand in the same place if you are ranged. Melee has to dodge Firebomb Explosions. SW/P The Revenant - The Searing Bond Cyclone Dog - ***
Spoiler
Uses: Cyclone, Searing Bond, LMP Flame-breath.
Spawns With: Picture:
Spoiler
Strategies: The primary source of his damage is his LMP Fire-breath attack, the skill that the Voidbearer's in docks do (often referred to as an Incinerate but it is actually a Flame Totem skill because during the creation of Voidbearer's Incinerate wasn't finished). If he Flame-breath's on-top of you MOVE. Try to position yourself so that when he Cyclones through you that his Searing Bond isn't damaging into you when he stops however if it is move. Skip Status: Easy Summary: Don't get hit by LMP Flame-breath. Stay out of Searing Bond, Cyclone is negligible almost irrelevant even (it just looks scary). The Sunburst Queen - The Incinerate Buy Lady - ***
Spoiler
Uses: 360° Incinerate, LMP Carrion Queen Projectile, Orchard Boss Explosive Projectile.
Spawns With: Carrion Swarmer, Carrion Minion. Picture:
Spoiler
![]() Strategies: Induce her Incinerate by standing at the edge of its radius or dropping totems on her till she uses it. After she uses it you have ~8-10 seconds to fight her in melee. Repeat this affect until shes dead. Remember that she can still shotgun you with her Fireball projectile during this period of time. Ranged just needs to dodge her Fireball attack if it does to much damage to them. Her Orchard Boss "Meteor" doesn't do enough damage to be notable. Skip Status: Moderate, Tight Corridors can get rough. Summary: Dodge her 360° Incinerate. *IT HURTS* P Thornrunner - The Proximity Shield Snake- ****
Spoiler
Uses: Spinestorm (a spike varient of Firestorm), Puncture, Proximity Shield.
Spawns With: Spine Serpent. Picture:
Spoiler
Strategies: Fighting this guy is like chasing someone who doesn't want to be caught. He will Puncture you and run away, preventing you from damaging him with his Proximity Shield. with low phys % reduction his Spinestorm will start to hurt a good deal more, With puncture this can make this effect quite lethal. This is a fight forces the player to use their flasks in an effective manner ~or~ be able to refill them. Skip Status: Easy, he has a tendency to run away from the player. Summary: This is a flask fight, without a way to refill flasks this fight can escalate quickly. Wiraq, the Impaler - Dual-Wield Miscreation - (new mob type as of 1.1.0) - **
Spoiler
Uses: Dual Strike, Damage Boost mechanic.
Spawns With: Burned Miscreation's. Picture:
Spoiler
![]() Strategies: This guy does next to nothing when his Damage Boost mechanic is off. Once he activates his Damage boost it coats his model with flame, indicating that it has been used. With the Damage Boost he does a tremendous amount of damage, running away is the easiest way to mitigate this. Hes not a very fast mob so running is not that much trouble. The Damage Boost seems to have a pretty significant cooldown, upwards of +15 seconds. Skip Status: Easy Summary: This is a straightforward fight run when hes on fire, fight him when hes not. P Wiraqucha, Ancient Guardian - Shroud Walker Snake - Shadow Ninjitsu Snake - ****
Spoiler
Uses: Splits into Shadows of himself, Shroud Walker/Smoke Mine.
Spawns With: Serpentine Constructs. Picture:
Spoiler
Strategies: Without Resolute Technique this fight becomes very hard. One of the hardest parts of this fight is finding the boss himself (GGG made this a lot easier as of 1.1.2). This is an Endurance fight to the extreme. Not incredibly dangerous fight though. De does have the in-surmounting force factor on his side, essentially, fighting this guy is like climbing a mountain. Skip Status: Moderate. If open area -> Easy. If enclosed space -> Hard. Summary: Be very careful that you are not overwhelmed. SW/P Wonderwalker - Undying Grappler - The Discharger - **
Spoiler
Uses: Discharge, Power Charges on Hit, Flicker Strike, Puncture, Possible Beserk Fury?
Spawns With: Undying Workers, and Undying Grappler's (the undying mob pack with him might varry *WT*). Picture:
Spoiler
![]() Strategies: Try to fight him away from his undying compatriots, or kill them before-hand. Without external method's of gaining charges such as map mods or the mobs that spawn with giving him Power Charges when they die, this fight is a joke. He does not individually have enough ways to gain charges to make his discharge scary. Skip Status: Moderate, He uses Puncture. Summary: Fight him without his undying friends. Cava, Artist of Pain - ****
Spoiler
Uses: Storm Herald, 360° Lightning Strike, Normal Lightning Strike, Vulnerability on Hit.
Spawns With: Whipping Miscreations Picture:
Spoiler
Strategies: Warding Flasks are great here. Her damage is exorbitant normally with Vulnerability however it is ridiculous (one-shot ridiculous). Note that he minions will also have vulnerability on hit, try to kill all of them before fighting her. Move out of her Stormherald when she calls it on top of the player. She seems to be easily diverted with Decoy Totems and you can use this to pull her away if you need to get past her or pull her elsewhere to finish the map (there's no trick to this fight it is just really hard). **NOTE FOR EVASION CHARACTERS** if he lightning strike attack hits something, evading her projectiles become impossible. Skip Status: Moderate. Summary: If she or her Whipping Miscreation mobs hit you with Vulnerability be careful. Kite out of Stormherald unless using Topaz Flask to bathe in the lightning. Try to divert her attention if possible. Skip if needed. Coniraya, Shadow of Malice - The Rain of Arrows Lightning Bowman - ***
Spoiler
Uses: Rain of Arrows with Shocked Ground on landing, Puncture.
Spawns With: Spectral Corsair. Picture:
Spoiler
![]() Strategies: Rain of Arrows does significant spike damage. Moving out of the shocked ground is a large part of this fight because it increases the damage of the next RoA by a potentially lethal amount. Puncture hits hard making Staunching Flasks very important for this fight as standing still is not the wisest of decision. Skip Status: Moderate, if punctured use a Staunching flask. Summary: Don't get hit by RoA in the same spot twice, it will be sketchy if this happens. Remove his Puncture before moving. Editado por útlima vez por HitMeWithLiGht#0024 en 15 abr. 2014 12:09:24

![]() Strategies: Although his projectiles look like Fireballs he will not shotgun you with them! It is a Lightning Strike attack, except of course fire damage. His Fire Trap and Burning Ground from Leap Slam seem to stack so moving out of this combo is the most relevant part of this fight. His Lightning Strike does a moderate amount of damage. The thing with making a list like this is how you're going to rank them. Because it's almost impossible to get a general idea, taking into account most/all of popular builds and not just base the rankings off your own experience with the build you run.
I've played several builds on invasion, played summoner most and I can say that the monkey bosses provide pretty much 0 threat, yet you have these marked as 'insane', and other bosses which you may find easy I would struggle with, namely that birdman, since it's tough to get my minions to focus on just him, or ones that have high damage but easy to avoid AoE, for players, (sunburst queen is a good example) where my minions will constantly die to because of smoke mine nerf. A repost from the thread without reserved posts, along with some new screenshots.
Spoiler
Alpha Paradisae, spawns with: Plumed Chimerals
Uses: Desecrate, Burning Ground (Like Fire Traps detonation effect), Devourers bodies like Devouring Totem, LMP Supressing fire. Tips:Having a skill that can get rid of corpses like bone/flesh offering will help greatly, keep on the move so you don't take high damage from the damage over time attacks. Atziri's Pride, spawns with: Miscreations Uses: Unrighteous Fire, Arctic Armor, Lightning Warp, berserk fury. Tips: Keeps teleporting all over the place, regardless of where you are. If you don't attack it and run away from it, it will "turn off" unrighteous fire. Get's tougher/quicker when on low hp. Balus Stoneskull, spawns with: Highwaymen Uses: Flicker Strike, Heavy Strike, Enduring Cry, Immortal Call. Tips: Straight forward melee fight, his heavy strike can hurt when he keeps doing it in rapid succession, so keep on the move when you cannot facetank. Uses immortal call in higher difficulties. Beheader Ataguchu, spawns with: Whipping Miscreations Uses: Cyclone which leaves a chaos degen similar to Desecrate, Cleave that puts 2 stacks of CB on you (it hurts), berserk fury, Vulnerability in Merciless difficulty(?). Tips: Get rid of the whipping miscreations first, or his attacks will hurt even more. Whilst the only danger at first is the Cleave and Desecrate trail, when on low hp Ataguchu will do more damage and attack way faster than before, which is often extremely dangerous without anything else to lose aggro on. Do not underestimate this one. Bladeback Guardian, spawns with: Porcupine Goliaths Uses: 360° Incinerate, Ice Spear, Ice Spears on death, Lightning Nova (think selfcast lightning trap), Reflects both Elemental and Physical damage. Tips: It's 360° Incinerate attack seems to be on a cooldown, as it will not cast it after a certain amount of time passed from the last one. If you are prepared for the Incinerate and reflect, this one should prove no problem Bladetooth, spawns with: Flame Hellion Uses: Melee Poison Bomb, Flammability on hit, Enduring Cry, Immortal Call, Burning Ground on Death. Tips: His rapid melee attacks hurt when you got cursed by Flammability, Warding flasks are your friend when you have to fight it directly. Move out of the poison cloud. Blood Morpher + Blood Stasis spawn with: Monkeys Blood Morpher Uses: Molten Shell, Flammability, Fireball, Enemies are Slowed Aura. Blood Stasis: Uses: GMP Arctic Breath in later difficulties, LMP Ice Spear, Allies Move and Attack Faster Aura. Tips: Seperate the monkeys for an easier fight, do NOT hit Morpher with melee when Molten Shell is up and you're cursed with Flammability. Stasis uses GMP Arctic Breath in higher difficulties, which will shotgun you in close range. Seems to have a cooldown on the skill. Cava, Artist of Pain Storm Herald, 360° Lightning Strike, Normal Lightning Strike, Vulnerability on Hit Ch'aska, Maker of Rain, spawns with: Tentacle Miscreations Uses: Rain of Spines(RoA reskin), Spinestorm (Firestorm with physical projectiles), a single target Spine projectile and an LMP one, Berserk Fury Tips: She can cast Spinestorm multiple times in the same location, and it has a long duration. Do not stand underneath it! It's single Spine projectile does way more damage han the LMP version. Once on low hp, it attacks faster and deals more damage. Despite the nerfs, she is still very deadly, especially when on low hp. Avoid whenever possible. Cintiq, the Inescapable, spawns with: Red Spiders Uses:Multistrike Flicker Strike, Viper Strike, Echo physical Ethereal Knives Tips: Avoid at all costs, when you see the red spiders and don't hear a *poof*(Pewterfang using it's Smoke Mine esque warp), determine Cintiq's location and work around it. It's Flickerstrike seems to be on a cooldown, though not that much. Very high physical damage dealer, if you're cursed with either Vulnerability or Projectile Weakness do not attack. Should you want to fight it, curse with Enfeeble and try to at least dodge the echoing Ethereal Knives. Coniraya, Shadow of Malice, spawns with: Spectral Pirates Uses: Rain of Arrows w/ Shocked Ground on landing (not sure if the shock stack applies to the attack that placed the shock ground there),LMP Puncture Tips: The RoA skill is the most devestating one, do not stand in the shocked ground by all means. When he shoots LMP projectiles he will puncture you, so do not move too fast when that happens. Staunching flasks will help. Corpsestitch, spawns with: Skeletons Uses: Desecrate, Lightning Warp, Summon Skeletons, Flesh/Bone offering, Vulnerability Tips: Getting rid of corpses with a level 1 Bone or Flesh Offering will halt his minion enhancement. Despite raising all undead, only his summoned skeletons benefit of the offering skills. His Desecrate does a high DoT in higher difficulties. Corrector Draconides, spawns with: Elite Blackguards (Blackguard with 2H sword) Uses: Bear Trap, Leap Slam w/ Burning Ground on landing, GMP Fire Strike( Fire version of Lightning Strike) Tips: His Leap Slam leaves burning ground on landing, which combined with his Fire Strikes deals a lot of damage. It can only do his Leap Slam after a short cooldown, and does it more often the further away you are. His Fire Strike skill shotguns Curator Miem, spawns with: Undying Incinerators Uses: Firestorm, GMP Firebombs, Flammability Docere Incarnatis, spawns with: Uses: Vaal Stormcall, Stormcall, Proximity Shield Droolscar, spawns with: Pirate Corsairs Uses: Desecrate, Raise Zombie, Detonate Dead, Bone/Flesh Offering Tips: Get rid of corpses with one of the Offering skills. His zombies do very high melee damage, and prove to be deadly with Flesh Offering up. Desecrate does high DoT. Stay aware of your position when there's Desecrate up, and don't forget it spawns corpses aswell! Evocata Apocalyptica, spawns with: Blackguard Elite(shield chargers) Uses: Vaal Fireball Totem, Spark Totem, Lightning Warp, selfcast Firestorm Tips: Do not get swarmed by the totems. The Vaal Fireball totem disappears after one full 360 degrees of fireballs, after which she can cast it again. If you move away from the other totems, she cannot cast them again untill the previous ones are gone. Mobility is key. Genesis Paradisae, spawns with: Leaping Chimerals Uses: Arctic Breath (LMP + GMP in respective difficulties), LMP or single target Ice Spear, Leap Slam which leaves burning ground on landing Tips: It's Arctic Breath can shotgun but has a cooldown, so keep track of when it last used this skill. When you're a distance away it will either cast LMP Ice Spear or Leap Slam towards you. Glassmaul, spawns with: Frost Guardians Uses: Wrath and Hatred Auras, CWDT Summon Skeletons, Warlord's Mark, Glacial Hammer, Lightning Strike Tips: Is not that though, but can leech a fair amount of life with Warlord's Mark up. Straight forward melee fight. Granitecrush, spawns with: Golems Uses: Discharge (mini-nuke), Enduring Cry, Gains frenzy charges and power charges (either on hit, when takes enough damage *WT*), Golem Rolls Tips: Like a player cast Discharge, it's AoE becomes bigger the more charges he has. Will do a massive discharge when it has all charges up. Keep your distance if possible, and strike when he didn't use Enduring Cry, has no charges up, or has just rolled. Grath, spawns with: Skeletons Uses: Allies Attack and Move Faster aura, Allies Cannot Die aura, Enfeeble, Summon Skeletons totem Tips: Pull away all the monsters in his viccinity before engaging him. He will spawn totems that summon skeletons, though the totems are relatively weak. Does single target melee attacks, so prepare for a straightforward melee fight with occassional Enfeeble on you. Graveblood, spawns with: Cannibals Uses:Ice Nova CWDT, Ice Spear (LMP + GMP?), Glacial Cascade, Frostbite Tips: If you use a rapid attack, do not engage. It will cast a LOT of Ice Nova, and if it curses you with Frostbite in the process will tear you down/freezelock(without proper Frozen status ailment counters) you easily Guardian of the Mound Vaal Fireball Totem, Molten Shell?, Storm Call, Summon Skeletons (will figure out how and where). Harbinger of Elements, spawns with: Flame Guardians, Frost Guardians, Lightning Guardians(melee skeletons of all elements) Uses: LMP/GMP Fire/Cold/Lightning Projectiles in Cruel/Merc, like skeleton mages in Vaal Pyramid, Allies Move and Attack Faster Aura, has Powerful Crits Tips: It always casts it's elemental attacks in a pattern, so when it casts lightning, it will cast fire and ice next, then lightning again. Can shotgun and or triple shockstack you due to Powerful Crits. Expect all status ailments. Haviri, Vaal Metalsmith, spawns with: Vaal Fallen Uses: Chaos Ek totem, Vaal Fireball totem, LMP Arctic Breath Totem, Spinestorm Totem, Shock Nova Totem, Flame Totem, Storm Call Totem, Shockwave Totem effect when he takes damage Tips: When you're in a tight area, do not fight him or you will very likely die. When you're in a larger area, you have a chance to kill him. He can only have a maximum of 3 totems active at all times. When fighting him, move away from him at first so he casts the totems away from himself, then move in and attack him(do NOT attack the totems!). He cannot summon more totems when the other ones are still active. Just be wary of when he resummons his totems, keep an eye out for when the older totems expire. Do not underestimate him even when his totems aren't with him, they will be resummoned... And deal high damage. Inti of the Blood Moon, spawns with: Avian Retches Uses: Soul Eater, Heals and get's a damage boost when eating a corpse, it's projectiles spawn small Avian Retches that it can eat to regain life Tips: Destroy all corpses with one of the Offerings, you do not want to end in an endless cycle of him eating a corpse and spawning minions, then eating them, whilst becoming deadlier in the process. When you do not have a corpse removal skill, don't fight him or use single target only skills(still would not recommend). When it has no corpses to eat, is still a formidable melee fighter with high physical damage punches. Jikeji, spawns with: It's own cast totems Uses:Lightning Warp Totems, GMP Arctic Breath, Shock Nova, (Vaal) Spark Tips: The 4 Lightning Warp totems are really tough, try avoiding them whilst fighting Jikeji. It can cast a GMP Arctic Breath with a cooldown, watch out as it deals a lot of damage and leaves you more vulnerable for the LW totems. Judgement Apparatus, spawns with: Vaal Constructs Uses: Ball Lightning, Elemental Weakness Tips: Junglemare, spawns with: Monkeys Uses: Allies have Energy Shield Aura, Frenzies Allies, Summons Monkies from tree (if present) Tips: Has a very high ES pool, keep on damaging it even if it's small damage do not let it regain ES or you're in for a long fight. Chaos damage to bypass the ES. Has a high life pool aswell, can hit moderately high with his melee attacks. Kall Foxfly, spawns with: Bandit Archers Uses: Split Arrow, Bear Trap, Lightning Warp, Lightning Arrow Tips: Watch out for the Bear Trap, it deals very high physical damage and makes you very vulnerable for his ranged attacks. High damage dealer overall, and will follow you with Lightning Warp when engaged and running away Kamaq, Soilmaker, spawns with: Devourers Uses: Ball Lightning With LMP/GMP, Far Shot, random Curse on hit Tips: A deadly opponent, when it emerges and melee hits you it inflicts a random curse on you. When this curse is Projectile Weakness, Elemental Weakness or Conductivity, it's Ball Lightning will hurt even more than it already does. Has far shot, so running further away makes it do more damage. Have a Warding Flask up, and don't fight it if possible... Konu, Maker of Wind, spawns with: Goatmen Uses: Leap Slam w/ Burning Ground on landing, CWDT Molten Shell Tips: His Leap Slam has a cooldown, so when it leap slams move away from the impact site as it leaves burning ground that does very high fire DoT. Will proc Molten Shell when taking damage, which will go away after a few seconds. Be aware when you deal physical damage as the Molten Shell hurts, a lot. Aside from it's abilities, does medium to high melee physical damage. Kutec, Vaal Fleshsmith, spawns with: Vaal Fallen Uses: Desecrate, Raise Zombie, Flesh/Bone Offering, Punishment Tips: Destroy all corpses, his Zombies deal a lot of melee physical damage. M'gaska, the Living Pyre, spawns with: Own summoned Raging Spirit Totems, Skeletons Uses: Flameblast, Raging Spirit Totems Tips: When you're travelling through an area and all of a sudden are greeted by a red circle on the ground, run. There be a totem about! When you have room to move, dodge the Flameblasts and deal damage to it. It can cast 4 Raging Spirit Totems, which deal a hybrid of fire and physical damage in rapid succession. They can hurt aswell, but Flameblast better be avoided at all times. Mammothcage, spawns with: Skeletal Beasts Uses: Life Regen, Allies Cannot Die, Extra Life Tips: Lure away nearby monsters so you don't have to tank all of them and can focus on Mammothcage. His life regen is RIDICULOUS, and requires constant high damage dealing to even negate. Skip when in a party with lower damage dealers. Hits moderately high with melee attacks, which have a small AoE. Mother of the Hive Uses: ranged crab summon, Allies cannot die aura Tips: When there's too many ranged crabs, try to lure them away from their Mother. Mother of the Swarm, spawns with: bugs Soul Eater, Summons exploding bugs, Detonate Dead. Nighteater, spawns with: Cannibals Uses: Fire Storm, Temp Chains, Bear Trap. Simi, the Nature Touched Soul Eater, Summons Apparition Monkies, Wrath, Anger, and Hatred Auras. Spinesnap Leapslam w/ Poison Cloud on landing, Chaos Degen Aura, Temp Chains. Strangledrift (I get this guy and All-Seeing eye confused all the time *WT*). N/A Tailsinger Puncture, Frost Wall, Allies have Energy Shield, something else i think? The All-seeing Eye(I get this guy and Strangledrift confused all the time *WT*). N/A The Bolt Juggler Lightning Trap w/ Multiple Traps, Fire Trap. The Book Burner Throws Books LMP/GMP Farshot, Book Tornado, Lightning Warp. The Duchess Soul Eater, Raise Zombie, (Starts with unique mobs that spawn around blood princess boss from tunnel might also summon these). The Firestarter Fire Bombs, Raging Spirit, Soul Eater, might flam. The Raging Mask, spawns with: Curtains Uses: Flammability, Firestorm, Raging Spirit Tips: It's Firestorm ability has a long duration, and will be cast where you are. Stay on the move and use a Warding flask when cursed. With a good AoE attack the raging spirits should be no problem. The Revenant, spawns with: Voidbearers Uses: Cyclone, Searing Bond, LMP/GMP? flame Totem doggie fire. Tips: Threat like a regular Voidbearer that can Cyclone from time to time The Sunburst Queen, spawns with: Various bugs 360° Incinerate, LMP Carrion Queen Projectile, Orchard Boss Explosive Projectile. Thornrunner, spawns with: Snakes from Sarn Slums Uses: Spinestorm, LMP Puncture, Proximity Shield Tips: Skip this boss as it deals extremely high bleeding damage and will mostly flee away from you, whilst keep on using Spinestorm (physical firestorm variety) and Puncture Wiraq, the Impaler, spawns with: Miscreations Uses: Double Strike, Piety fire form (added fire damage, walk and attack speed), Berserk Fury Tips: Deals high physical damage, and has even more when in it's fire form. Once on low hp can attack even faster, combined with it's fire form it can stunlock you. Wiraqucha, Ancient Guardian, spawns with: Serpentine Constructs Uses: Selfcast Fracture, Shroud Walker, Puncture (only original Wiraqucha) Tips: Will become tougher the longer the time you spend fighting it, as it keeps on fracturing smaller versions, that deal less damage but still pack a punch. The main snake and fractured ones are borderline invisible as of the latest patch, though if you can't hover over it the main snake's life bar is slightly above the smaller ones. It can puncture you which, combined with the crapton of copies, can be deadly. Big AoE with high damage is advised, or anything that makes short work of it. Wonderwalker, spawns with: Undying, Undying Grapplers Uses: Discharge, Power Charges on Hit, Flicker Strike, Puncture Tips: His Puncture deals very high physical damage, keep an eye on your status ailments and pop a Staunching flask when you're bleeding, or DO NOT MOVE A MUSCLE and tank the Discharges. Medium to high lightning damage with it's Discharge attack. And here are some invader screenshots!

" *The point of this guide is to cover what Invaders do, not pinpointing the strengths and weaknesses of X/Y builds when fighting certain invaders. I could say that every Invader is fairly easy because there is a Perma-Freezer in my group.* The thing is a lot of these invaders on the insane list transcend build difficulty, an example being the RIP video posted on the twin monkies section, a one-shot is still a one-shot and people should know that it is a possibility. It also depends what level maps your doing? also you can actually make your minions specifically attack one target by Shift+Clicking Auto-attack with a melee weapon on the invader (admittedly I'm assuming your using Aurumvorax). I'm sure there are summoner videos about it somewhere I haven't played a summoner nor will I. My friends zombies don't die to Sunburst Queen either *granted hes got a Montregul's but gear is always a factor* was only 71 map though. I'm probably going to mark Inti as hard especially since 1.1.2 where his damage also scales significantly with Soul Eater. But, I haven't quite decided on him yet. I also will be setting up melee difficult/ranged difficulty, it will look something like this Curator Meim I might also do it like M/R. I Have not decided yet Thanks a bundle Spaz I will start adding them to it now (embarrassing as it is this post taught me how to quote). lawl =P *EDIT* your pictures are now up if you add anymore please put them in a different spoiler on that post or a new post in general. ^.^ Editado por útlima vez por HitMeWithLiGht#0024 en 12 abr. 2014 16:47:46
