help w/ b/o code on trade threads

can someone help me with this? ive read http://poe.xyz.is/tags.html and simply can't understand what code i need to input or where. i'm just trying to add alch b/o on everything in my shop http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/871523 so that it shows up on the items on xyz.
wasn't sure if this was the right area but the other help section says for gameplay. |

You have to put it like this for individual items: ~b/o and for global buyouts ~gb/o e.g. [*spoiler="your text here ~b/o 1 Alch"] sets a buyout for 1 Alch for all items in that spoiler.

i still can't seem to understand it. okay, so i already have a spoiler [ ] thing on my thread for the two sections. should I remove those and replace them with what you're saying i need to add or do those spoilers for bo OUTSIDE of the ones already existing?... Just edit the spoiler tags. Hit quote to see and copy the code:
Uniques ~b/o 1 Alch
item

so can you maybe take a look and confirm with me? http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/871523 i see it shows b/o 1 alch in my spoiler thingy so does that mean they'll show up on xyz w/ 1 alch? when i search xyz for heatshiver (just an example of one of the items i have on that thread) http://poe.xyz.is/search/sukootamooteba I cntrl find my name and don't see mine. This isn't really the place for xyz support as they are not affiliated with GGG in any way. Your initial question about the additions to the spoiler tag were fine as it related to GGG forum... but xyz support it a little different.
While you can certainly see if anyone here will reply to your post about xyz, you might either contact xyz directly, or post in one of the "general discussion" forums for assistance from other players who use that system. It might be the fastest way to get the answers you're looking for. |

There's an [/item] tag at the bottom of the post you should delete (it's most likely not a problem, but just in case. Lonely tags can do weird things). Anyway, yes, it should work now. Just give poe.xyz some time to update (it's a bit faster if you bump your thread) :-)

got it. ty for all the help alysma. that can be rather confusing, and xyz is a pretty integral part of poe game play imo since there isn't really much in game to support trading.
i'm gonna have to bookmark this thread in case i ever need to reference marking things w/ b/o. thanks again for the help it was very much appreciated! :) |
