WTF with the slow shit download speed from Launcher???

in my launcher it says that the total size of the patch is 5.1GB. am i the only one seing this? i thought it was only 1.5gb

This is exactly why I laughed when RCN used to raise there prices, then say but we are upping your internet to 20MB then 25MB. Heck you care barely even get any of that between the line being clogged by the whole neighborhood and no servers giving close to that upload speed for you to use.

Mine is like 1.5GB, but I patched before even though I knew I wouldn't be in until open beta started. Would it be 5.1GB for someone who never patched before?

Anyone playing? I've just done patching. a little bit over 30mins but still not bad

Patching client =/= game servers.

These are two entirely different entities with their own stress loads and bandwidths. They put a giant red message that the patching servers are under heavy duress, and that they are working on freeing up space.

When the game first released it was. they added a SHITLOAD of content to the game.
