Reset gem level

Orbs of scouring would work on gems to remove the experience on them.

Allowing you to "recycle" the same gems for new characters

What do you think?

This is partially implemented. If you trade an orb of scouring with a gem to a vendor, you get back the same gem minus one level. However I think there needs to be both a way to remove a single level as well as a way to reset a gem to level 1 without costing an orb of scouring for every single level you want to remove.

Perhaps:
- Vendor gem + scour = remove one level
- Vendor gem + scour + transmutation = remove all levels

Eh would make more sense if it was the gem + 3x scourings or something.

Gem + scouring + regret = reset to level 1?

If we get a recipe for a full reset I think it would need to be kinda cheap though. You are after all losing all the xp gained, so it's only really good if you have a mid level gem and want to use it on a new character.

That would be cool, or spend any (unneeded) skill gem (which will be destroyed) instead of the regret.

Would be nice, buying new gems for alts is annoying. Resetting a gem should cost similar to what it would cost to buy a new gem.

Not considering quality gems, this is about a chaos for most useful gems (there are exceptions obviously). A scouring and a regret would be a nice reasonable price to reset a gem.

Edit: You could make this vendor recipe only work on non-quality gems for balance considerations, running q20 gems on alts isn't something I support.

Especially given the current state of the game where rollings alts is the best way to pass the time.

i like the idea of of full gem resets, i wish to keep my high quality gems for my other chars.
to stop people from using the same gem over and over again they should probably put a level cap for reset (level 15 and above?)
