Options to lower graphics
Hello,
I'm playing on 6 year old computer(pentium 4, nvidia geforce 7600GS) and as I see there should be options to for example disable rain. It's really cool that there are options to change antialiasing , texture filtering, but I miss functions to make graphic lower. I mean these functions: ![]() ![]() I think this idea is pretty useful :) Este hilo se ha archivado automáticamente. Las respuestas están desactivadas.

I'm expecting to see this in Open Beta.
glare o_o I'd love to play with minimal graphics as long as the framerate is high and stable. Intel HD Graphics here, horrible for gaming yet manages PoE nicely until in a party full of flashy explosions. inb4 "get a new comp" = NO, YOU. OKAY? YOU! Yes we need more graphics options, however: " http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/31756 |

Can you disable shadows entirely in forest maps? I don't think it would hurt the game that much and provide a serious performance gain, the way they are handled now.
Otherwise I played this game on an old Macbook Pro with a 9400M and since then there were patches that added a significant performance costs with the added decorations. I think it would make sense to have at least an option tu turn off lots of extra decorations that are randomly generated along with the tiles. Plants and such. This is good because it doesn't reduce the quality of existing models as such, just makes it a little more sparse, which on a smaller resolution is less noticable. (and we'll assume that older GPUs probably also run lower resolutions via old setups) |

Honestly you can't be playing on a bad computer from 6 years ago and expect support...what in 20 years are you going to be asking the same thing on the same computer? This game already is ridiculously low in the graphics department...for 70 bucks you could get a graphics card to max it out

Have you removed Asus ROG/GameFirst yet? |

It would be cool if they did allow ultra low setting but understandable if they didn't.I have a nice laptop that I mainly got for it's touch screen and though it will have a go at running just about everything(including POE and Skyrim)it will at a very low frame rate but POE actually is almost playable.Besides D3 is the only game that flatout refuses to run on it so you would get one one over that by making it more portable(again Skyrim runs on it!).
But like I say understandable if they didn't as I do have my desktop PC. Ironically another Indie game Krater runs on my laptop but not on my desktop(doesn't run on XP64)albite extremely low framerate. Editado por útlima vez por Kavlor#3571 en 12 jul. 2012 9:56:25

i would also like the option to tune down some of the effects in the game. For me, game is playing smoothly in all areas when im playing alone, but when my friend joins, who plays ranger with lightning and poison arrows, my fps drops whenever he uses any of those spells :S
