Ok guys. Looks like i am done as well.
Did with the Quill Rain too, just a little more defensive with Maloney's and Onslaught/Cold Flask. Uber Elder done, although ripped right at the very end on the last portal, so no lutz for me. " Caustic Arrow will clear crap faster with Pierce, but will greatly suck on bosses. Toxic Rain is good on everything. Scourge Arrow... scourge arrow is an amazing skill, but i find it unplayable.
ok don't get me wrong, it is playable, but there is one thing about it that pisses me off beyond fucking belief that i refuse to play with it ever again. its terrain. terrain breaks scourge arrow, ESPECIALLY doorways. if you're trying to walk through a doorway but get blocked because mobs rush you (this always happens) your scourge arrow straight up will not work. terrain breaks scourge arrow, as in stops it, and if its stopped too early it won't lay down any pods at all. it will work if you fire it through the door itself, but that shit seems way harder to do than it should be. this experience ruined scourge arrow for me, personally. |

Hi,
If you have two 6-link bows; One is a Quill Rain and the other a +3 gems bow with built-in Vicious Projectiles - which is best for high tier content such as Red Elder and Uber Elder? Is it better to shoot more pods with Quill Rain than all the gem levels you can get from the +3 bow with an added Empower? |

" I think that Quill Rain in general is better than any +3 bows unlesss these bows also have HIGH PHYS damage. 7L Link will probably be as good as just Lioneye's Glare, but i need to check. +3 7L will maybe be as good as Quill Rain, but will not have the phys leech that Lioneye's Glare gives. So you will probably have good damage, but mana problems and as a result = low life pool because you need Thief's Torment . But for Uber Elder it is still god damn hard to stop and concentrate fire. Most of the time you can shoot 1, 2 maybe 3-4 times before you have to relocate.
