Hi OP, I'm currently playing a Scion AssFinder version of this build just to dump the remaining currency left from the league and, boy oh boy it feels goood. Assassin cuz crit, Pathfinder for everything it gives (mov spd & dmg on flask effect; 50% chance to recover a charge when crit; 10% chance to no consume charges when flasking). With this and a Diamond Flask up, flasks are up all the time. This is my current gear setup (looking to improve everything):

Even though i've switched to this build just yesterday, I'm almost done with the gear (just missing watcher's gem).

Still, I would like to propose 2 modifications to this build:

1) I really have doubts about "Controlled destruction" in 6L skill setup. Personally I replaced this with Empower lvl 4 and combined this with Storm Call lvl 21.

As the result my :
- my damage boosted by around +50%
- radius increased from +6 to +8 (20-24 lvl), which means the double hit of SC is almost all over the line of attacck (I would say 75% coverage).





2). I do feel it's too squishy at the moment, even though my gear is really decent. As the result I resigned from Heralds (leaving only Wrath), but I took Blasphemy + Enfeeble instead. Additional layer of defense (1/3 damage reduction + reduction in crit damage received) is to be appreciated in my humble opinion.


What do you think about these ideas?

P.S. I've just started farming T13 maps as level 72:)))

Loving your build atm, but something came to my mind:

Isn't Kaom's Roots (Unwavering Stance) nullifying the dodge and evasion from tree?
Or I'm missing something important, because even PoB calc shows that the dodge its in effect

To 1.: are you judging by tooltip dps? I am using Path of Building, which is way more accurate. Also concentrated effect should be way better than empower. (I use controlled destruction because I don't want to lose the aoe, but concentrated effect is the best 6th gem.)

To 2.: If you feel squishy I highly recommend the Mind over matter variant:

Dodge isn't evasion, dodge is a own mechanic itself, so it doesn't get nullified by the unwavering stance. Only evasion gets nullified, while dodge works fine, PoB isn't wrong in it.

Iam currently fiddling around with a budget version, since I would like to play this as a league starter next league.

You can get a Helmet with conc/less duration for 1c, add immolate and its 1 ex and you are doing more dps then Impulsa.
A ring with warlords mark on hit goes for 30c and you wont need watchers eye and Bereks.

As for the tree I picked Arcane Potency instead of Heartseeker. You gain 15% crit multi, 8% ele dps and 1 point.
