Abominable Yeti

Not sure if this has been addressed yet, but see multiple posts from before. Killed the yeti, grabbed the quest item. I did log out before turning in the quest, the item is gone, cannot finish quest. Tried to go back and kill again, no quest item drop :(.

Anyone find solutions yet?
