Self Immolation + Commiserate + Heartstopper

What is the order of operations for these interactions? Specifically with the Commiserate support gem.

Lets say a hit ignites. Self immolation would kick in, bouncing the ignite back. Would Commiserate even proc here, as I would need to be ignited first for Commiserate to even remove the ailment.

hit -> ignites -> commiserate does not proc -> ignite reflects ->
hit -> ignites -> ignite reflects -> commiserate procs ->

I doubt it would work on the first hit, but I can confirm it works on following hits like this.

hit -> ignite removed from you -> new ignite applied to you
