Kaom's Madness support: worth using?

My monkey-brain only sees "much less of everything". So is this support actually worth using? Do the extra fissures make up for the losses?

Pretty much, haven't really seen any proper synergy with this lineage gem.

Following up, this build by Skadoosh utilizes Kaom's Madness for Earthshatter, which is triggered by spamming warcries, nice xtra damage!
