can't return the finger to become Abyssal Lich

I jumped into the well and opened the door and fought the boss, but when I fought the third time, cant press "return the finger", only a button to press "Take the finger".

I fought this boss about two times, can't press "Return the finger", and on the third time, I was able to press "Return the Finger." However, the power went out, resetting the map. I had to fight the boss a fourth time, and there was no button to press "Return the Finger."

What im I missing?

So basically, I keep buying Kulemak Invitation and keep fighting the boss until I can change class

It cost a lot of exalted to chain run the event, hence why I am looking for information from those who have been able to ascend to try and find a workaround.

In your case, do you mean that you have been able to ascend after multiple attempts?

If yes, any observations on how the fight went on the attempt that worked? For example, do you remember selecting specific modifiers? Did you die at all or did your clear it all without having to respawn?

Yes, I've been able to ascend after several attempts. I only select for Amanamu what I remember
