Half of the canoe's "rowers" are floating outside the boat and travel on an incorrect path that does not line up with the canoe at all. They're also turned strangely and do not hold their paddle the correct way. Below is images showing this with arrows to indicate the strange way they travel when the canoe comes and goes.
