Price Check Mod

So I see a lot of PC players with a price check Mod for items...

Since the economy is shared between console and PC, this is a major advantage for PC players, not only it saves time checking the trade site as it is clearly unfair against console players.

This add-on/mod should be a native functionality of the game both for PC and consoles... Having even grounds would only make the experience better for everyone!

I made a post on this yesterday. Look for a phone app called Path of Price Check. works like the PC apps do except you take a picture of the item on your screen in the app instead of being directly linked to the game.

It still takes way more time to take a pic and search than pc players their 3rd party apps are exact to the stat and exact price match, the app is not 100% correct either I tested it and used it all day. it's better than nothing but still takes time and you have to double check each stat on the item you uploaded because it doesn't always read the stats correctly.

I don't think saying the phone app takes "way" more time is accurate. the only difference is that it takes you 10 seconds to open the app and take the picture vs hitting a keybind on PC to accomplish the same thing. i do agree that it misreads one of the stat values maybe 10-20% of the time, but that's easy to catch and fix when you're selecting which stats you want to filter for. for me it's usually a resistance value and it adds an extra number. if yours happens more often, make sure the toggle for reducing values by 20% isn't on. i think it turns on by default when it detects high stat rolls

at the end of the day, we're talking about 20 seconds to price check something with the phone app vs 10 seconds on the PC apps. sure, it takes twice the time as PC but it's 10% of the time it would take you to manually enter all of the search values on the trade website.

consoles can't install and run a third party program, so it's hands down the best solution that we have available and it's likely the only type of solution that will ever be available because GGG isn't going to build this feature into the game. Just like they haven't built an item filter generator into the game.
