Goodbye All its been real frustrating

After months of playing and never being able to beat the top tier bosses to farm good enough items and get into the end, end game playing 8 - 12 hours a day i'm strongly considering calling it quits.

While I love the game itself, the fact that I will never be able to farm enough currency to buy the top tier items that are on the trade site that I need to progress my buildit pisses me off to no end.

Until they either ban bots and accounts that are breaking the rules for financial gain, and or fix the drop rate on currency so a regular gamer can enjoy the game and get the high tier items without having to BUY currency I cant keep beating myself up like this.

I'm stuck on level 91 and that wont rectify until i can upgrade my gear, cant upgrade my gear because I refuse to purchase in game currency with real money and farming and trading is not enough to be able to get my hands on the 3 things i really need to finish my build in total it would it total cost me over 700 div.

so that means i'll never be able to enjoy the end of the end game. The only people who have these items are the streamers and gamers that run bots and or purchase currency from 3rd parties. It was a good run for the past 8 months but im sure there are more games I can play, put in the same amount of time and be in the top rank of all players with all the best gear. No one should have to put in the time I do and still not be able to have the best items they need for their build. I'm going to keep an eye on the game because i do love the gameplay and the grind but until real gamers that are not cheating the system can actually get the items they need to be able to farm the highest tiers of content without having to buy in game currency im done!

Furthermore no game no matter how challenging requires someone to grind 8 - 12 hour days and still unable to obtain the highest ranked gear. A casual gamer has no chance especially if I can't do in running 12 hour days. ggg get it together. You are losing players and ratings like crazy.

a few things, I see your still playing cause your still posting all over the forums... I see 10ish posts from you today alone and I am glad you are. Remember the game is in the early access and we all paid to play it knowing it is. I too have had days where I just couldn't stand this game and its state anymore. Then I turn it off and watch some tv and or play a different game. I am a retired vert who games from sun up to sun down and some days are just better than others. I AGREE with a lot of what you've said in your post(s) and I hope ggg does something to fix a lot of it with out doubling down on the excessive difficulty and bugs. I personally haven't been having a currency issue at all, im averaging 5-10d a day in a 8 hour session. I am however struggling when it comes to other loot. I get A lot of trash loot and it isn't that its literally trash, its that there is only one viable build... LS and EVERY build is using it. There are those off meta builds like essence drain or the Smith, but people arent buying that loot. Then you add in that 50% of the player base right now is bots, which means there is probably 30k players on at any given time(real players, not bots farming currency) and then you have 10k people all selling and buying the same tangletounges lol. I have 3 ive been trying to sell for days now lol. I have over 100 hours this season in maps and I have seen 1 perfect jewelers orb and im not paying 2-3d for one. I have yet to see one of those fancy strongboxes I see on YouTube and every time I get a good 30-40 res peace its ruined by wasted stats like reduces attributes or your allies or some super low roll that just makes it not usable. I don't even want to touch on the gambling system they call crafting. Speaking of gambling I have chanced 10 necks and 10 belts and just watched them disappear lol. I finally stopped that madness and stated selling my chance orbs. No point in crafting when you can buy the gear cheaper than what you waste trying to craft and that's sad seeing that everything with good rolls is over a div each on the low end lol.

My point is you are nit the only one feeling the crunch, I think GGG needs to ban the bots and start this season over again now that they are back from vacation. It's early access and beta... everyone should be expecting multiple resets. That one that yell and scream are most likely the same ones supporting the bots lol, again its a game in beta... I would rather a reset every day then to spend another week with LS as the only weapon and perfect jewelers orb going of 2d or 230ex. That's my take on all of this madness. I gave up on being mad, now im just laughing at it all. if they ever patch poe 1 I might go back there for a bit, they havent lost me yet...but the tv is more interesting than the current season lol

Totally agree. the equipment are so expensive, I can't get it by farming except spend real money.

spending real money is bad also, don't do it. I see streamers with sponsorship from currency selling sites and people talk about it on reddit but I don't think the risk vs reward is good enough. I get enough in game just farming. I am not a streamer and have excepted the fact that I will never have a top tier build cause im not being given gear or currency.

I wish i could get 10 div a day I have been trying to get Astramentis now for 6 months a 100+ they sell for 150-250 div on the trade site. I have stacked rarity like crazy most im getting is the equivalent of 2 div per day between trading and farming. if i spend nothing that's going to take me 2-3 months to save for at this rate. and it's the biggest hurdle in me being able to go into higher tiers. of pinnacle content. I cant play any pinnacle content above difficulty 0 and beat the bosses. because i don't have enough health nor mana. I cant fix that until I have astra I have tried everything to get one. cant farm enough currency, cant chance one, cant gamble one all I do is gamble for and chance stellars everytime i get a few collected still no astra.

I'm sorry but there's something very wrong with what your doing and that should be the first place to look for answers. Playing 8-12 hours daily and not being able to beat pinnacle bosses is only possible if you don't quite understand something about the game.

I have watched 100s of hours of youtube videos. I have put countless hours into my build using a build guide for the top #1 build for ritualist my biggest issue is the three rings and amulet i need Cost so much i can't buy them that's where i get all my survivability from. i need 3 breech rings with str, dex, Int, 1-99 lightning damage, + cold dam, + fire dam, and astramentis until i land at least astra My health pool is too low my damage is decent but i'm way too squishy. I am using a build that eventually will land 2.5 mil damage however getting there is next to impossible. I get one shotted by dif level 3 bosses. I understand the game just fine but I cant farm and trade enough for the items i need seeng that they are being sold for 150 - 250 div

Maybe try a build that doesn't cost 700 div...?
