Account Linking Help

I want to play the game as advertised - same characters from PC to Xbox. console.

I have created a ticket and been waiting for more help for over 5 months which is ridiculous.

I have supported these devs for well over a decade and I’m guessing spent well over 1k in MtX.

I played PoE on Xbox 1 one time just to check it out it was horrible so I stayed in PC.

I finally said screw it I’ll try the account merge thing which also didn’t work.

My account here is linked to Microsoft Account. I bought Beta Access on Xbox and was given it on PC cause of my history supporting.

After I merged accounts it shows in accounts that PC/Steam and Xbox Account are same. Now I launched Xbox version (which so far runs horrendously on Xbox S or whatever the white one is) and guess what. Great news. It’s now a third account.

I can’t comprehend how some of the most intelligent devs in the industry didn’t just make consoles enter in log in information just like everything else so you can manually input your Steam account. I don’t get why the account this is so hard here. I have them linked. They should all be one single account.

Their information page on account linking literally explains there is merging which makes it so you should have an option to choose what account you play (which is literally pointless. Who wants two separate accounts and characters and MtX?). But it also states they can do something so it’s one single account.

I sent all my info for both accounts and emails and all that and my only reply was two days later and said “you can merge your accounts”. Then nothing for 5 months.

This is not what was advertised. I want to sit my large butt in my pc chair and play the game. Then when my family is not using the TV lay my large but on my couch and play the same frigging characters. I want to buy stuff on my PC and it work on Xbox and Vice Versa.

It’s really frustrating when it takes this long. I’m guess half or more of their support requests are literally this same issue.

Why for the love of all that is holy did you not just make it to choose your login info on console?

Idk. If anyone could help that would be great. I have a bad back so I would like to chill on my couch and play.

Yeah nothing I see says that. If I am not mistaken I believe you can get that on the PC so you can select console Sub Accounts.

Idk why they did it like this. On console I should have to just put my login info in. Make it the same account. No one wanted sub accounts they wanted to play a character on PC and that same one on console. They wanted to buy something on console and it be on PC.

Just such a huge mess and to wait almost half year is insane to me. I sent all my account info.

No I merged them cause I’m sick of waiting. That did nothing even though it shows it’s linked but my console characters are still random and now it’s a new account (not the same old console account).

Like Diablo 4 was and is a huge let down by a mega Corp and I was so excited to just play this on my couch with my son or wife and now not only is it basically unplayable, but they didn’t do what they promised they would do and if they did they made it almost impossible to do.

Should be easy. But the game. Game asks you to log into account. The end.
