Help with Storm Wave Invoker Monk

New player to POE2, I've been trying to play storm wave invoker monk but the damage just feels bad. I struggle to kill rares in act 3 and the trial of chaos feels impossible. I would appreciate any help on how to increase my damage or just improve the build overall.

On leveling sometimes you fell have a low damage, but try find a staff with more físic damage and 3 ir more LVL skills... This help u until finish chapters... And try to take crit damage and shock damage possible on tree
