Temporary fix to alleviate the performace issues - PS5 PRO

As a console player, I know that consoles have worse performance than PC nine out of ten times, but the performance gets worse with each patch and needs addressing.
Playing with Herald of Ice is a performance tanking nightmare. On a high-density map, FPS will fall below 10 during shatter explosions. I don't know if the explosion or the particles created after an explosion are tanking performance, but can we get some kind of free temporary MTX for skills that will heavily reduce or outright remove death effects from our abilities to help performance a bit?
I know that HoI is not the only skill which breaks performance. Artillery Balista's flame effect on hit also creates lag, and the effect stays on the ground for a few seconds for no reason other than artistic view. At the same time, I do understand that developers want their game to look beautiful, but a PowerPoint slide show is not helping.
If we were to get those MTX options, the people who prefer performance during the beta could choose to put those on, and those who want the best graphics can play without changing anything.

Games can look beautiful without being still frames.
This is where an optimized (or plainly good) engine is required.
I'm all for this - I totally agree. I wanted to bring attention to this myself because when I'm running maps and I happen upon a Gloom Shrine...life is fabulous. It cuts out 90%+ of my lightning particles and all of the sudden I'm mapping through butter and it feels GREAT! At the very least some kind of attention to this by way of a free MTX to dampen our spell effects would work wonders while they're trying to fix the bigger issue here.
Totally agree. I tried polcirkeln + herald of ice build. The build itself was super fun, but the frame drops were so bad that I just gave up in the end. It’d be great if they added an option to reduce the ice particles for performance improvements.

What’s weird is that I ran the exact same build last season and didn’t have any of these frame drop issues. It feels like it’s actually gotten worse this season.
