DPS going down with passive jewel?

When slotting this jewel into a passive node, my skill DPS goes down pretty much across the board. Am I missing something here?

Edit: it's only this jewel. It was a new node, but the problem persists no matter which node I put it in. All other socketed jewels work just fine. Wondering if it was bugged out after being corrupted (though that shouldn't matter). This is the only corrupted jewel I have.

What was the old jewel? Or is this a new jewel node for you?

it was a new node. Tried restarting the game, and slotting the gem into other jewel slots, and vice-versa slotting other jewels into the new node, and everything seems to work as intended aside from this one jewel. Seems like its just bugged or something

I have the same kind of Jewel and the same thing is happening. DPS goes down.

For what it's worth, I never figured out why. I just sold it and found a different jewel to slot in instead. No idea why that one was being weird.
