3.22 Help on Gear - Lightning strike - poison dagger

Hello guys, I need some help regarding the build crouchin_Tuna made last week :

After bricking some daggers in crafting process i ended to have a dagger with these stats :



And i was wondering what would be the difference if i ended with a dagger with some flat elemental damage has used in the video ?

Since it's a poison build I am still clueless about how the mecanic really works.
Did i uselessly stacked overtime damage in the process ?

Sadly with those mods, the base dagger is essentially useless. You could put those mods on any dagger and your damage will somewhat be the same. The point of using that heist base is so you can use flat ele to scale poison damage which is not normally the case. So you really really want to get those flat ele rolls
