Kirac Missions disappearing,
I've been running red maps for some time now and every time I complete a Kirac red map objective, the list of all Kirac missions refreshes. However, I don't always get map offerings for yellow and red tier maps. In fact, I almost never get yellow tier maps -- just white and red. Today however, I stopped getting red tier maps too. My white Kirac map slots are all filled up after having used a comprehensive scouting report, but still no yellow or red Kirac missions. This, even though I used the scouting report after having completed non-unique maps in every tier as well as white tier Kirac missions, and still no yellow or red Kirac missions.

You just ran out of yellow and red missions.

You have to do white maps to have a chance of getting a white mission (not guaranteed)
You have to do yellow maps to have a chance of getting a yellow mission (not guaranteed) You have to do red maps to have a chance of getting a red mission (not guaranteed) You cannot get Kirac Missions from running Kirac missions. You cannot get red missions from running white/yellow maps. Map tiers are defined by difficulty, not rarity. So look at the color of your map keystone, not the modifier colors. If you use an orb of alchemy on tier 3 map, it will still be a white map as it is tier 3. Hope this makes sense. |

To clarify, it's not that I ran out of missions, but that they disappeared. I ran one red Kirac mission, completed the objective and killed the map boss. When I rechecked the mission list, there were no red tier missions at all, when before I completed the map there were about 8 of them.
Maybe the bug is that I actually was getting mission resets (the entire tab gets 8 or so new missions) after completing a mission. This happened so frequently that I didn't think new mission tab generations were RNG. I would run missions that I could complete quickly just so I could have a chance at generating guardian maps. |

Perhaps you are confusing the number of missions and the number of maps offered?

Nope, there is no difference. You are conflating Atlas missions with Kirac misssions. I'm only referring to Kirac missions, for which there is a 1 to 1 correspondence with maps: each map has its own mission objective.

" It sounds like you are indeed getting things confused. "Atlas Missions" collectively refers to the missions offered by all 5 masters, which are displayed on the right side of the Atlas screen. Each master has their own stock indicator, which keeps track of white tier missions, yellow tier missions, and red tier missions. "Kirac Missions" refers to the Atlas Missions that Kirac offers. The stock indicator, labeled "Missions" on Seaman's screenshot, is the same as it appears on the Atlas screen, and tells you how many missions of each tier you have stocked up. If you hover over the matching counter on the Atlas screen, it will display Kirac's name, indicating that it is a counter for Kirac missions. The number of stocked Kirac Missions does not related to the number of maps displayed on Kirac's mission screen, outside of the fact that none will be displayed if you have no remaining Kirac Missions for that tier. Kirac is offering you several destinations, and whichever you take becomes your mission. The rest are discarded; if you have remaining Kirac Missions, a new set of destinations will be offered. |

Yeak OK that helps. I think I finally understand how this bowl of spaghetti is supposed to be eaten.
The map list doesn't disappear unless you've successfully completed the map objective and your mission counter reaches 0. The list doesn't reset unless you successfully complete the map objective and your mission counter isn't decremented to zero. If you fail a mission only the map you ran is deleted from the list and your mission counter remains undecremented. Looks like everything is working as intended then, sorry for the confusion. |

" To be fully clear, this isn't exactly correct either. After you select a map to run for a Kirac mission, as soon as the map portals for it start appearing, the mission has been consumed and the maps being offered, both for sale and for the next mission, are updated. Things updating are not tied to completion or failure of the mission objective, they simply occur immediately. If open, the mission list will close when the portals to the chosen mission start opening. If Kirac's shop inventory is open, it will continue to display the old stock until closed, and display the refreshed stock when you enter it again. |

I tested it out -- if you fail the mission only the map you ran gets deleted. However, if you successfully complete the mission, the entire list gets updated. So how the list gets updated depends on whether or not you successfully complete the mission.
