[3.20]: Storm Brand CI Elementalist (High Crit and Shock): Melt Mobs, 95% Content Viable

Storm Brand CI Elementalist

This build utilizes storm brand on a witch elementalist to maximize effects from shock and to have a primal aegis, while also being high crit. DPS hits around 11 mil. I developed a "low life" version originally with a dual wand setup which was better for taking down bosses such as Uber Uber Elder and Uber Shaper, but it was very squishy on general map running, so I find this version more fun. By not relying on a Shavronne's Wrappings, we can get very high ES recharge rate and start of ES recharge from our gear.

A Watcher's Eye with ES on hit keeps the health pool up at all times. We do not need to invest in spell suppression since we have a combination of 22% phys reduction and 35% chance to block attacks. This allows for better scaling of damage output via crit, lightning damage, and shock.

This build can run delirious and blighted maps no problem.


Pros and Cons

+ Uber Elder/Maven/The Twisted, etc viable
+ Great for clearing map mobs as well/farming
+ Very fast start of ES recharge means recharge starts in 0.8 seconds
+ Chaos immune

- Movement speed is pretty good, but slower than, say, a bow build
- Watcher's Eye is expensive! So are the boots
- You have to craft the shield yourself, but I have a video on how to do this below (at the end)
