3.18 (kinda) Crit based Elemental Hit Deadeye Advice Wanted!

Hi there, so I have always loved the elemental effects, and then found the three for one rainbow of fun called Elemental hit!

Now I've never Shapered my Elder or anything like that sort of end game and kind of wanted to give it a go.

So with the main links being:
Elemental hit + Elemental damage with attacks support + chain(or barrage) support + Trinity

If I can find the dream of a decent 6 link bow then I'll think of the other two links.

Auras: Grace + Flesh & Stone + Precision(If I can squeeze it).

Am I on a decent path or in for a world of pain and regret later?
