[3.13 WIP - Unfinished] Stormfire Burning Arrow {Manastacking Ignite}

Greetings Exiles, In my last guide video I got asked to do a Burning Arrow guide. Now it's my turn to deliver. So please enjoy the Stormfire version of Burning Arrow. Why Stormfire, you might ask? Well, it enables a lot of nice interactions on offensive and defensive side, which made it a lot of fun building around it. In addition to the build here, I have added some more modifications in the written guide. A fair warning, this build is fairly unique heavy, so it is probably not a good idea to attempt this in solo selffound. Video Guide: Summary: This build works on the offensive side with ignite DPS stacking and raising the base damage with maximum mana via Arcane Cloak and Might of the Council. The main idea was to abuse Elemental Equilibrium and apply ignites with lightning damage via Stormfire. On the defensive side this build has at least 48% Mind over Matter (48% Damage are taken as Mana), relatively high dodge and good regeneration with the Agnostic Keynode. PoB:

Ascendancy:

With the ascendancy rework the Hierophant node stays strong as it still provides the boost to mind over matter and the increased mana. The other prefered ascendancy should be elementarist, as it provides us with immunity against reflected damage as well as a guaranteed shock effect of at minimum 10%. The increased exposure we apply is another large boost to our damage. Compared to 3.12 the deadeye ascendancy has lost the accuracy and build in pierce effect, but gained Tailwind. While it is weaker than before, it is still an alternative, if you want to get more speed. Overall the choice is up to you. And don't forget to take the 3 extra skill points from uber lab. Our main focus lays on the maximum mana and ignite nodes.
To help our defense, we pick the Agnostic for massive regeneration and Acrobatics to enable dodge. Elemental Overload helps a lot with our damage, as we are a non-crit build. Later, you can include Supreme Ego to boost your Aura, once you have an Essence Worm Ring which negates the mana reservation. Elemental Equilibrium should be picked up, once you have Stormfire. Make sure that you do not have any source of fire or physical damage on your equipment after picking up Elemental Equilibrium. Should you fail to do so, you will aply a fire resistance buff to the enemies and thus lowering your damage. In the end, you won't be able to avoid crafting cluster jewels and filling up the normal jewel sockets, but more to this in the equipment section Pantheon:

I heavily suggest Soul of the Brine King to prevent stun locks. Due to our small life pool, we are easy to stun. For the minor pantheon I like Soul of Abberath to negate burning grounds. Bandits:

2 passive points seems like the best choice, because in most cases it will enable you to get another jewel socket. Gem Setup:

You can opt for a stronger support setup at the cost of mobility. Alternative Support (6-Link):

This setup would replace one of the Burning Arrow Setups and you have either to settle for a gemswap solution with a white socket as green/blue flexible slot or just settle with the map clear setup. Sigil of Power (4-Link):

Thank you for the work, I couldn't bring myself to do it.
Scion is out of meta for now (deadeye is heavily nerfed), Witch is overall better and have perfect synergy. But scion is still work. In my opinion, templar/hierophant and shadow/trickster also could work. Build isn't restricted with one ascendancy. I also ask my fellow Mind-of-the-Counselors to support this thread https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3008974 We lack accuracy, and passive skill tree provide us none (no accuracy on nodes that synergize with ignite with attacks). Also you can mention that in burning arrow thread https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2160108 As the inventor of this build :^) I will support your guide in any way I could. |

Taking a jewel with Supercharge/Scintillating Idea instead few tree points good idea? |

We have almost no damage spread, so lucky damage from supercharge won't do anything.
And penetration won't work for burning damage. |

What's your thought on using elementalist (witch start). That way you can drop stormfire for berek's respite for big ignite spread. That being said you'd have to drop EE.

In the light of 3.15 changes the build is considered dead.
