iron mass verdict?

Hi, has anyone tried iron mass ? IS it worth it? how does it work ?

I got that weapon, and there are a few points that needs to be understood in order to pass judgement:

- The weapon substitute the standard sword that skellys have, which gets Physical damage as they level up, (1012 at gem level 20), which means that their raw damage gets gutted, but since the standard sword has only 0.8 attack per second, while Iron mass having at min 1.48, the dps almost evens out (but it gets lower as u level up the gem beyond 20)

- The weapon grants unholy might (30% of physical damage as extra chaos damage) and allows with a chance (20-25%) to stack wither, which drammaticaly increase the dps on sturder targets. This also means you need to fully convert the skelly damage to chaos in order to get the most out of that weapon.

- You need to keep in mind that u need to hit with Iron mass in order to have the triple damage up (I chosed spectral trow, since it allows me to trigger the effect at range), and might be a pain since it adds another button to press.

- As I said in the first point, since the weapon as a much lower raw attack power, you need to stack ghastly with either flat phy or chaos damage (possibly both) in order to make Iron mass a good choice.

In conclusion, this weapon is a little bit tricky to use, and rely on a good ammount of cash, since it needs to be scaled.

P.s. There may be some other builds that can abuse the triple damage alone, but right now I'm playing full chaos skelly, so I can't pass judgement on other type of damage.

I tried cold conversion with the sword and it was really bad. It felt clunky and dps was not great.
Apart from having weapon MTX on skellies and reflect-frendly minions with full chaos conversion, it is not worth the invesment needed to make it viable.

how can i see that x3 damage is active? Can i activate it with travel skills? Whirling Blades?
