Can you turn off trade requests in XBOX?

I like playing this game solo. I don’t party up or chat. I don’t entertain trade requests. On my PC I know how to disable all of that. However, due to some circumstances, I can’t use my PC to play, so I’m using my XBOX. Is there any way to disable chat/ trade requests?

" take your items off the trade board. every tab has public setting. click the right stick then the right stick again to make it not public so it wont show up on other peoples trade board. |

... pretty sure that is not what he's asking bud. As far as turning them off I don't think I have seen that option but how often are you actually in town to be bothered by them really
