Stand alone client wont continue downloading " Error "

evening, in the past 2 days I had no problem playing path of exile at all and today around 5 hours ago I started having problems in game error and sudden game crashes none stop after I tried to update my gpu and windows to latest updates available to this date, however 2 hours ago the stand alone client started to download updates but it keeps crashing giving me the following Error :

I have been having similar problems. Installing the game on a Win10 Toshiba laptop.
First it was an HTTP 429 error. I added in an exception for PoE to the Windows Firewall. Relaunched, watched it go through the 'checking resources' and 'allocating space' steps. But before it even gets to 2%, it suffers a connection failure, and it's done this consistently for several iterations now. |

I had the same problem. After restarting the launcher like twenty times I went to the directory I installed the game in and ran the PathOfExile_x64.exe. That made it update without any more errors.
Maybe that works for you guys as well? |
