Build idea, Toxic rain, HoV, Bane?

ever since i saw the gem video and description of the new gem: Bane, a thought struck me. Shouldn't it work really well for PF.

With the Passive: Nature's Reprisal its Area covered should be rather big, and as i am guessing and hoping it will also have the Curse tag making it a valid target for the Hex Master keystone another 40% increased aoe, making it rather big.

and then u add in toxic rain and HoV for some extra nice damage on top of it.

and with the new gloves Storm's Gift adding some additional multi.

What you guys think? could this be a valid build or?
