Tornado Shot deadeye Skills chain +1 times Drillneck

Hi,

I just bought a drillneck with the corrupted mod "skills chain +1 times.

im running a six link lioneye's glare with tornado shot, GMP, Maim, Mirage, vicious projectile damage and increased crit damage support.

My question is about the "skills chain +1 times" mod...

My tornado shot doesn't appear to be chaining. is it not working for some reason? is it just the secondary projectiles that chain? im confused... I payed 2 ex for it too lol

My ascendancy is Powerful precision, fast and deadly, gathering winds and rupture.

Pierce > Fork > Chain

That's the priority of projectile mechanics, only one can happen per hit. You cannot chain until your projectiles cannot pierce or fork. In your case, Powerful Precision ascedancy point prevents you from chaining as it gives +3 pierce.

Ah that makes sense. Would you know if it has ANY chance of chaining if the pierce/fork doesnt happen?
