[Seeking Tips/Advice] Burning Arrow build

Hi Ranger experts

Playing my first ever Ranger character (and first Bow character in any RPG/MMO game!). I've got a few characters in the high 80s so I know the basics of character building

I want to make a Burning Arrow Ranger, but can't really find any guidance in the forum. Would appreciate any links or just general advice to my general questions following :

What would the best approach be to this build? (Don't need a complete tree, just guidance on what important nodes to take, what will stack well, what to avoid

More specifically I suppose: what approach is required to maximise damage, what should my main concerns around defense be (I prefer builds that kill slower, but have good defense). Can I do this with Life and Evasion (plus max resists) only?

I am level 35 now, for movement I've been using Blink Arrow. I'm also throwing an explosive trap and summoning a siege ballista, but not sure how useful those are going to be later on
