Pick Champion, First get First to Strike, Last to Fall, OR YOU CAN get Unstoppable Hero or make your way to Worthy Foe. First to Strike, Last to Fall is great because of it's buff when being on low hp.

3L - Summon Ice Golem, Blood Rage & Whirling Blades
3L - Blood Magic Support, Poacher's Mark & Blasphemy Support
4L - Ancestral Warchief, Faster Attacks Support, Vaal Reave & Maim Support
4L - Blood Magic Support, Leap Slam, Fortify Support & Faster Attacks Support
5L/6L - Blade Flurry, Multistrike Support, Melee Physical Damage Support, Chance to Bleed Support, Maim Support & if you can Added Fire Damage Support

2 1H weapons, good uniques you can use are Scaeva Gladius & Dreabeak Rusted Sword. Works very well with Dual Strike.
Tabula Rasa or any 5/6L with Maximum life, any res, Armour, Increased Armour
Starkonja's Head Silken Hood
Any belt with maximum life, res and increased global physical damage + strength perhaps.
Any gloves that has attack speed, res & maximum life
Any boots with movement speed, maximum life and any res
Any rings with res, maximum life & perhaps crit chance multiplier or added phys damage to attacks
Any amulet with maximum life, any res, global critical strike multiplier & any dex/str/int

Any life flask with high life recovery in less than 5 seconds. Try to get this roll on it 100% increased recovery when on low life

Silver flask
Diamond flask
Stibnite flask

Try to get some of these items if you can, it will make leveling so much easier. If you can't get these items or it's the start of a league, just ignore this.

Level 1 - Get either frost blades and use it with ancestral call at level 4. If you have no items like tabula or any items for that matter, then look for movement speed boots at the vendors. Try to find 1h weapons with either or both flat physical damage and increased physical damage (att speed is good too, but not at the cost of the others) Rings, amulets, gloves with phys damage to attacks, maximum life and resistances.
Level 12 - Now you can get Reave and start leveling with that
Try to cap fire res, or any res for that matter, perhaps save rings with high resistances and switch on boss fights.
Once Brutus is dead, pick up Added Fire Support and Leap Slam.
If you want you can pick up Sunder after killing Merveil, but you can still use frost blades, Reave for a while if you so desire.
Pick up Faster attacks and link it with Leap Slam, take Herald of Ice and Blood Rage. (Don't level Blood Rage past lvl 10)
Level 24 - Get Warlord's Mark and at level 31, link it with Blasphemy support
Level 28 - Get Blade Flurry and start using that
Do Lab as soon as you have the hp and damage for it
Get Immortal call,Cast when Damage Taken and Stone Golem when you are near the completion of act 4.
Link these gems at the end of act 4
When you can, get fortify and link it with leap slam and faster attacks.
You should probably use Blade Flurry once you got good enough gear to progress through the acts and start mapping, Reave simply cannot compete at this point if you don't have good enough gear.

Make sure not to get one shot and keep your resistances high, at this point you can probably use 1 life flask, 2 quicksilver and 2 mana flasks or switch out 1 mana for hp flask.

When you are upgrading your gear, you primarily want to look for these things.

Defensive affixes
Always prioritize maximum life, this above anything
Resistances
Armor or Evasion

Offensive affixes
Flat Added Physical damage
Attack speed

Flasks
Atziri's Promise
Lion's Roar
Taste of Hate
