[3.1] High Budget HoWA Wander -- 13k+ ES, ALL map mods viable, delete all bosses in seconds
This build is mainly intended for standard or very late league due to the high gear requirements.
This guide assumes you have moderate knowledge of the game and there will be commonly used abbreviations used throughout. Hi~ Welcome to my HoWA Wander guide! The basic idea is simple, obtain a ton of flat elemental damage and ES from stacking INT and mow down bosses with barrage while not being punished for making mistakes due to having high amounts of ES unlike most other barrage builds.
But HoWA is a claw, wth is a HoWA wand?
With the 3.0 War for the Atlas expansion we got new "shaper" and "elder" items that can roll very interesting mods. The "Adds 1-6 lightning damage per 10 INT" mod is commonly known as HoWA, named after the extremely popular claw. Now that it's taken the form of a wand we gain access to skills such as Barrage which can quickly destroy bosses. WebM shorts! See the strengths of this build for yourself! Volume warning for headphones users, loot filter may be a bit loud. T16 Minotaur Chayula Chayula Spin facetank Shaper Slam facetank and Shaper Phase 1 Shaper Beam facetank and Shaper Phase 3 Pros & Cons of the build ---------------------------------------- Pros ~Very fast clear speed and boss kill times ~High amounts of ES from INT stacking, enough to face tank shaper slam ect. ~ALL map mods are easily doable (yes this includes ele reflect and no leech)
Ele Reflect?
The new shaper reduced reflected elemental damage taken mod is the reason why we can do elemental reflect maps. Swapping in a ring with 15%+ reduced elemental damage taken combined with the Yugul pantheon makes us immune to elemental reflect. Our sources of reduced reflected damage taken includes.. ~Elementalist ascendant node (50%) ~Soul of Yugul (25%) ~Primeval Force (10%) ~Shaper ring mod (15%+) This adds up to at least 100% which means we take ZERO reflected elemental damage.
No Leech?
Swap in any sort of mana flask for no leech maps. We have a high enough ES pool and obliterate everything fast enough that life leech does not matter just pop Vaal Discipline in sticky situations. Cons ~Expensive! If built on standard I recommend a budget of at least 200 exalts and a character at least level 90 before starting. ~No shield charge or whirling blades :( ----------------------------------------
Passive tree
121 points (level 93)
Bandit: 2 Passive points. Alira is a fine alternative if you are needing the resists. Fertile Mind goes into these 2 jewel slots.
Gear
I will link an example piece of end game gear then list the affixes you should look for in descending order of importance in rare slots. You must dedicate at least 1 suffix somewhere for STR as this will save you 2 points on the tree, unless you are using Astramentis of course.
Wand
The core of the build. The 1-6 lightning damage per 10 INT "HoWA" mod is a must. Affixes in order of importance: ~1-6 lightning damage per 10 INT (Shaped) ~Gain % elemental damage as extra chaos damage (Shaped) ~%Increased lightning damage ~Local critical strike chance ~Local attack speed ~Damage penetrates % elemental resistances (Shaped) ~Global critical strike multiplier or INT
Shield
Affixes in order of importance: ~As high energy shield as possible ~INT and resistances
Helmet
Additional Barrage projectiles enchant is best. Affixes in order of importance: ~As high energy shield as possible ~INT and resistances
Body Armor
Affixes in order of importance: ~As high energy shield as possible ~INT and resistances
Gloves
Shaper's Touch eliminates the need to acquire accuracy on other pieces of gear and a cheap way to obtain curse on hit. This also gives a moderate amount of ES, about 1k less ES than a mirrored rare glove with INT.
Boots
Skyforth gives us free power charges and stun resistance. This is a must unless you opt to take Unwavering Stance on the passive tree. It's fine to use rare boots as well if you take Unwavering Stance on the passive tree. You must also obtain power charges from somewhere (The Blue Dream, PCoC, Assassin's Mark). Affixes in order of importance: ~Movement Speed ~As high energy shield as possible ~INT and resistances
Belt
Headhunter is the king of mapping belts. Use a rare Crystal Belt or Stygian Vise for T16 maps and boss runs. Affixes in order of importance: ~%Attributes (Elder) ~Resistances ~INT (Essence only) ~WED ~Flask mods ~Flat ES
Rings
We use 2 rare rings here to help cap our resistances and give us some extra ES or damage. Affixes in order of importance: ~Resistances ~INT ~WED ~Crit multi (Essence or Elder only) ~Flat ES ~Flat elemental damage The new shaper reduced reflected elemental damage taken mod is the reason why we can do elemental reflect maps.
Amulet
Astramentis is a fine budget option here. Best in slot would be a shaped rare amulet. Affixes in order of importance: ~1% Damage per 15 INT (Shaped) ~%Increased attributes (Shaped) ~INT ~%ES ~Damage penetrates % elemental resistances (Shaped) ~WED ~Crit multi ~Crit chance ~Flat ES ~Resistances ~Flat elemental damage

Flasks and Jewels
Flasks
I use these flasks for everything because I'm lazy. A heat flask is required. Swap in any sort of mana flask for no leech maps.
Jewels
We need 2 Fertile Minds and the rest can be Cobalt or Abyss jewels. A Watcher's Eye with Wrath lightning penetration and Discipline %ES regen or Clarity %Mana as extra energy shield would be best. Excuse the wall of text, I will attempt to add more pictures in the future. meow Editado por útlima vez por Plushiess#6865 en 18 feb. 2018 18:19:18 Reflotado por última vez en 24 feb. 2018 6:02:41
